if u read thru dis thread from d start, u can see many ppl claimin dat they haf sources which predict iphones arrival in msia. this date varied from Dec2008 -> Jan 2009 -> Sum say Feb 2009 ->and now 2nd q of 2009.. sigh, just wish it wud eventually jus come out..haha.. at d moment it feels like a never endin wait. neway hope dis source is for real

Given a choice, i would also prefer a local set due to warranty issue and also the availability of a service centre locally. Even if my set is not local set, i can easily get a repair also.

with iPhone launched in Thailand and Indonesia, i believe it will be in Malaysia anytime soon. no doubt about that.

Yes, I'm hearing this being corroborated from a few other sources as well. I've been skeptical of the earlier rumours but I think this may be the real deal.
