By that time, it's iPhone Version 3 already. The next iteration should be this June/July.

i think they must have perfected the version 3 already by now. this is a business strategy, waiting for a complete one year cycle to launch a newer version. maybe add video recording and enhance bluetooth features and 8 MP pix and 32gb storage and a superduper longer battery life?


heck, probably they are now working on version 4 to be launched next year, that could not be cracked by the i Dev Team! hahahaha....

woooh... big dreams there..... well as long as its better than the current one... i'll go with it....

but then it's gonna cost a bomb! and hopefully i can afford the reduced price of iphone 3g by that time heheh

Well, i am deciding whether to get aifontriji now or wait forever for maxis or digi to bring in. I am tired of waiting and really giving it a thought to purchase 1 asap. Price is around RM2400 for singtel sets now.

thts cheap... why not buy it now and save the hassle of waitng to someone who want to wait?

i was waiting from the 1st gen and till end of 2008, i'm tired of waiting. there's never any reliable sources that can claim that any of our telco is going to bring in iPhone to M'sia. all were just pure rumours. i finally took the plunge a week ago & honestly i'm happy with it.

who cares if Maxis/Digi decides to bring it in, you will still be stuckwith an amount of upfront payment for the phone & high monthly usage fees on 2 years contract (based on what Maxis is doing now on their phone deals). plus, iPhone's price is kinda steady and hardly drops. might as well get it now & enjoy it before Apple launch another new gen of iPhone. the waiting game will never end.

i have given up and gotten myself an iphone.

if at all maxis, or any other telco, bring over the iphone, they will probably wait for the next version which will be released in june.
