but the plan is very ridiculous la.
maxis/celcom should make new plans for existing iphone users

the plan i'm using in russia requires me to pay rm70 per month (prepaid)
and i'll get free 1GB EDGE, 70 free sms and 70 minutes free talktime.
although i use edge almost eveyday, still very hard to finish it.

yeah dun expect maxis to charge cheap...i see plans like optus, three and all, pay $30 per month for 2 years they gave u 1 free phone + $150 talk time per month + few more goodies rite.. for malaysian operator where got? habuk pun tak ada ar

As an after-thought, I cannot help but wonder what marketing strategy Maxis and/or Celcom are deploying!?

iPhone is such a hot commodity and I am sure they know a lot of us here are already buying from neighbouring countries. Therefore it is difficult to fathom as to why there are no teaser advertisements or even fanning of the rumour mill that they are introducing one of the hottest if not the hottest gadget of the decade, to let the buying public to wait for it and thus have a bigger market rather than let us to continue the overseas purchases, especially if, as rumoured, it is to be out at the bat of an eyelid.

if u subscribe line in japan u can get iphone for free.. lol

actually u buy from neighboring country also same ma, ard, 2.8-3.1k , so they charging u the extra for warranty, nothing wrong
