Iphone 3g officially in Malaysia.... SOON?

people should just travel down to Singapore, get a handset outright.
Pretty sure the iPhone 3G won't make it to Malaysia.

We have Outback steakhouse, we have Carl's Junior, and we have Starbucks too! Why dont we have iPhone?! Btw, i heard that digi got the contract for iphone. They gonna launch iphone3g together with their 3g package around 1st Quarter of 09. Kononnya la the rumor like dat. If it's true, whole street also iphone. No more a premium phone  |

Seriously, nobody knows other than those in the know. The best we could so is guesstimate. As long as you dont see our local telcos adopting the same business model like in those countries who had already their own iPhone launches, logically you wont see it here. Once a telco here is willing to buck the trend and let Apple eat part of their revenues, then only we will see one here. No amount of gossiping with "your friend at lunch" will make the iPhone magically appear here, so please just STFU and leave it be. Wait for the official announcement and stop feeding the rumor mill. |
