The assurance I want from Proton is that if indeed it is a wiring fault and they changed the wiring harness, I definitely want the assurance the same problem do not arise again.

firmware upgrades of the Tiptronic gearbox of my Audi A4 Turbo bacause it is already working fine for me. Why should I upgrade for the sake of upgrading and risk something
going out of my expectations? I am 2 versions behind now, but I am OK with it.
We are just not on the same plane of perception as far as the AUTO on light is concerned. Most, I won't say all, of savoc.net forummers who experienced AMT failure had
early warning in the manifestation of this AUTO light being on, sometimes momentarily and sometimes on permanently.

I do not know if they're misleading as far as my concern, wiring fault is also categorized under electronic fault. Sorry if i mentioned as wiring fault on my previous post.
I tot proton provided a 5yrs warranty...what else do you need? how about a lifetime warranty from proton for the electronics? We may start a petition although most likely they will be ignored... such as petition signed to some other car manufacturer....
About the AMT light warning, I do have a different perception on it as most of the time when I got this error and drive to the SC, they always tell me that it's either there's a short circuit or engine sensor problem. They're erased and same error did not occur again.
Except there's a case that my brake switch faulty and after some revisit they finally found the problem where the brake pedal is actually causing the fault.In this case AMT light blink once only every few weeks.
I also had a case where temp sensor faulty & falsely showing the engine temp is overheating. In this case, no error was shown.
But for both cases, they still running perfectly for weeks even with such problems.
That's why for me, AMT warning light is nothing to be dreaded about. of course I cannot convince you that my POV is correct.
For the same reason, isn't that you also shouldn't keep on giving an impression that Savvy is having a major design flaw?

The campro's maintainance also not that cheap o~!
The Saga's advantage is using a cheaper part price, cheaper gearoil and less engine oil compared to Savvy....
But if Saga breakdown....hoho...FYI 4 pencil coil for Campro IAFM cost more than RM1K...Just for an example....
If I were given a choice, I'll go for Saga as it's using campro engine. I'm very satisfied with my Gen.2's engine performance & silence so far.
