i call the SA already, she said the discount savvy only for base-line model, 2007 2nd batch model..

she said the 2nd batch doesnt have problem like the previous batch, which i assume the design problem (had been mention on previous pages).

so anyone here do have 2nd batch, year 2007 model savvy?

btw, i havent order yet, im still in the process preparing document needed and surveying which savvy is better (have to wait for 1-2 months if i want year 2008 savvy...its way too long )

i want to compare this 3 cars, waja, savvy and kelisa in term of maintenance cost, which one is cheaper?

i've been using waja for like 4 months then change to kelisa for around 3 months, from my experience, waja maintenance cost much higher at which i had spend almost every months repairing "this and that" (door opener, gear handle etc2), but with kelisa until now i only got 1 problem so far, compressor. (both auto)

so where do savvy stand? i think it would be in the middle of those 2 cars...

I have a July 2007 M-Line model, not sure whether it belongs to the 2nd batch. I took delivery in mid-June 2008.
I had a RM6,000.00 discount for mine.

It has been problem free so far, so I think it is safe if you decide to place the order for a 2007 model.

I don't believe there are design problems with the Savvy AMT, if you care to refer to my latest post.

how to know my savvy production within what month?

I am not sure whether you have it, but I have the Delivery Order (Domestic)
form issued by Proton Tanjung Malim Sdn Bhd to Proton Edar Sdn Bhd
stating the date, chassis no., engine no., body colour, ignition key no., etc
in my glove compartment when I took delivery of the car. The form is yellow in colour.

If u dun get it, u just can see the TYRE wall side,
it may state like this 3508, means 35th week 2008 production

the production date can be found under the bonet. on left side. date stamp

dont look at the tayar.. thats the date of the tayar

it should be something like a metal badge , try to check your chassis there see if there is anything on it

the only metal badge i can found on my savvy is near the driver door.

may i know how the production date code look like?

its rubber stamp, white color text on black

my auto light turn on for about 2-3 sec when stop at traffic light. gear N with my foot on the break paddle. this happen once only. but i don't see anything wrong with the savvy. bawak mcm biasa.. no weird sound what so ever. any suggestion?

though ur gear on N do tarik ur handbrake. when u r not moving, pressing brake may mean pressing ur clutch too; especially when ur car r not moving or moving in slow motion. braking in fast motion i dont think it will trigger ur clutch.

try playing around with ur brake.

press ur brake a little bit, good enough to trigger the clutch switch but not hard enough to brake the tyres then release a bit. u should be able to play around with the clutch. do it while ur car r not moving/moving slow with gear 1/2. u should be able to feel it.

my 2 cents is (though sm of u might denied this, but to be safe),
put ur gear to N, dont press brake and use ur handbrake when stop at traffic lights.

i did it now and for the time being, no auto light.

amt got so many characteristics. u need to learn it. hehe.

well.. i did try to recreate the scene where the auto light flash once. but not happen again. he..

anyway after that when stop at traffic light, i did like what ur did. neutral and handbrake only. should i tell sc bout my auto light? since the car didn't have any problem i afraid problem occur when they try to search for problem. u know la.. proton sc..
