one of the point is, you must service ur car in authorised proton shop. doing outside will void ur warranty.

savvy service is once every 10k km?
if my SC ask me to check every 5k km what does that mean ?
that SC is a bit lousy, i ask them to repair this weird sound coming from near my tire 2 times d, one of them till change brake pad but no difference at all

no doubt sc is lousy, they change wut u dont need and charge as they want...typical, generate more revenues for their sc means bigger bonus at yr end.
for me, periodically every 1mth check the engine oil, see if the viscosity still alrite or not. use drop in filter, so don hav to worry about a lot. check those brake, battery, coolant steering fluids level...top up whenever needed.
u b fine servicing the car every 10k km...but for me, i service it every 8-9k like tat..since i always stuck in jam..haa.. laugh.gif

that means your SC wanna suck your money. using semi syn oil can last for 10k km.

Kenari??? OMG...that's rubbish car. You're better off getting a 2nd hand Myvi.

My last SC...also like that ask me to check every 5km. I say fcuk off.

Basically according to manual, you should service every 10K or 6 months, whichever earlier.

I think mine is late for 20k service...almost 2 years only 21k, coz my mileage very low, why the hell need to service 20k when my mileage is only 10,000km?? Change oil, filter and other standard stuff enough already. The PJ13 SC got bising a bit about this, i don't give a damn as long as i got my book stamped by the SC every 10k. Previous SC also never say anything, why this one wanna make noise? mad.gif

But i scare they might try to play nasty if got problems later and needs to make warranty claim...Previously i just wait until it hits the mileage then only go service, but now, i think i'll just go every 6 months...

A lot of people only bought the 2 years warranty. Also, Extended warranty is only applicable for original owner. It cannot be transfered to subsequent owners. So if you buy 2nd hand...you got no more warranty after 2 years.

Is it u accidentally turn the heater on in a hot day, then ac very cold... crack?
anyway tht's scary tho...
*
nope, im pretty sure that not the case..
i only turn it on when its raining and it automatically turn off when i stop my engine..

actually im suspecting this was caused by a cheap material used & poor qc inspection.

went to PESC today, and they still haven't finished with their investigation...what a joke.. doh.gif

sorry guys was between jobs...hard to adapt like changing cars..

Just bought Contitech brand timing belt kit for RM320.

only after 110k km then only think of changing timing belt..

The price for old design ignition coil with cables is only RM220.

You kena potong leher lah. Mine is about RM390 only but i ask for additional wheel rotation and alignment, thus cost RM4xx. Care to tell us the details of the parts they sold(or oversold) to you?
