That's dangerous, you should keep your legs on the floor when you bench, not on the padding.

i find with my legs up..my back is more arched and i prevent myself from using my backbone to " push " up...

I've even seen 1 fella lifts both legs in the sky when bench pressing. No idea where he gets that idea from. But he's huge, and strong. So I just shuddup and no comments. =P

But then again, you never see any powerlifters bench press with feet anywhere else but the floor.

ahhah... exactly... as long as u dun bounce the weights on ur chest..keep good form during the exercise....

and when i was lifting...the last rep almost fail.. i had to counter balance the weight using all my muscles....

this is almost my 1 RM... if fresh i think i can do 75....

Its not wrong, just dangerous. Your stabilizer muscles at your hips, legs and feet are taken out. But I think you could bench more with your feet on the ground although I agree with you that it is certainly more comfortable that way.

Its a SE W910i btw Disciple.

You should be in school studying or at home doing some school work. You really should prepare yourself, to conquer the world young padawan rather than going to the gym busting your ass. hahah. pretty decent photos, congratulations you just amused some people in the forum biggrin.gif

Power transfer. You can direct the force from your legs up to your arms. Don't know how to explain but Rippetoe has this written down. He explains it better than anyone.

Dude, I think you should do all your workouts in your gym, it's quite dangerous to have that bench with the plates in your room with your bed next to it...who knows one night it might fall on you. Touch wood.

My progress has been slow lately because I've been slacking a lot.

Your back looks disproportionate from other body parts. Somehow it overshadows and makes your arms look skinnier. The last pic looks great though smile.gif

Btw, from a weight-loss point of view you did awesomely well! Its like seeing 2 different persons in the first and last pic.
