QUOTE(King83 @ Aug 6 2008, 09:47 AM) lobster red and skin peels off means you got burnt already.what you can try do is only tan for 15-30 mins REGULARLY(3x a week?). and slowly up the duration to 1 hour perhaps. if you do 4 hours one shot means burn lo... then will be pain and peel off for new skin. lets see if that might work... |

QUOTE(uhuk-uhuk @ Feb 2 2009, 08:25 PM) @pizzaboy good progress so far. ur cutting went very well haha i agree that it's gonna be really hard to gain 15kgs in 2 months but i'll just give it a go la. i always stuff myself with rice, wholegrain bread and chicken but yet my weight increase has been slow. to put on 15kgs in 2 months is not entirely recomended... there are articles around saying that should only put on 1lbs of weight a week. anyting much more than that would more likely to be fats. and even out of that 1lbs/week, its also both muscle and fats... which is more is depending on the body's nutitiion partitioning profile, current bf%, wrokout/training activity, age and also body type. so if 1lb per week, 2 months is about 8 weeks.. shd be 8 lbs kua... but this is whats recomended la. i lost the website link dy, it was bookmarked in my old pc -.-" just curios why 90kgs by march? whats the rush anyway? bodybuilding is a lifestyle, no great deal to rush into things... but again, great progress so far |

QUOTE(kurtkob78 @ Feb 13 2009, 09:49 AM) Regarding the HIIT, i found that when I do intense HIIT, I will have soreness all over my body. This soreness is even worse than doing weight training (especially the feet, calf and thighs. Cannot even walk properly). So I need to rest at least 2 days for recovery. That means only 1 day HIIT per week. Else I don't have enough recovery time for my next weight lifting. Whats your HIIT vehicle? jogging? skating? rowing? cycling? elliptical? My exercise like this Tuesday - weight Thursday - weight Saturday - morning - cardio , evening - weight Sunday - evening HIIT Repeat to Tuesday. When I want to cut a bit, I add some fasted cardio maybe in the morning of Sunday/Monday/Wednesday/Friday Well if you do not so intense HIIT, maybe you can do more than 1 time per week. 3 times per weeks also can. But if you are having the soreness, it's better to give time for recovery why are you sore all over? i've done HIIT up to 5x a week before and no soreness issues then. as a matter of fact, i don't even get sore doing HIIT. (threadmill- running) the only time i did have trouble while doing HIIT was after leg workout days. and even then, its not HIIT that was the problem.. it was my sore legs from leg workouts the day b4. could it be not enough protein in your diet? Maybe your hiit is super intense so you end up sore. hehe u shd try tabata circuits too. supposed to be worse then HIIT. |

QUOTE(yeah_guyz @ Feb 13 2009, 11:58 AM) what is your pace? my pace is variable. but first round is 10 incline at 15kmph for 1 min.perhaps they did it in very intense way i did my HIIT on Treadmill 60s at pace 12 60s at pace 4 repeating for 3 round then my calve and foot fatigue like hell....i'm flat footer..it's common my foo get fatigue and hell pain after running then starts to reduce from there each circuit. can't maintain the same speed... the last circuit could be around 6-8 incline at speed 9-11kmph. depending on how i feel. when i'm out of shape i might rest 2 mins instead of 1 btwn the high intensity pace |

QUOTE(bata @ Feb 21 2009, 01:58 AM) @ Neek Nah. not that thin. yeah. chest isn't really my fav body part. so i didn't really focu s much on it. one of the reasons why its lacking nice cuts on the back, look like ur skin really thin there. imho u need traps and lower chest more Chow trapz have always been lagging for me. been working at it since last year till now. will keep at it. thanks QUOTE(mofonyx @ Feb 21 2009, 03:21 AM) hehehe thanks.didn't really hit my cutting target, but i think its about enough for now. QUOTE(myvi5949 @ Feb 21 2009, 08:13 AM) yeah, i had some other shots which showed how much fatter i actually am in the "before" pics.gross stuff QUOTE(Disciple @ Feb 21 2009, 10:22 AM) was on body part split HVT while bulking. switched back to HST for cutting.dunno what cycle ald. HST is cool but it has its limitations too. gonna go back to body part split VT when i start bulking again. QUOTE(jamis @ Feb 21 2009, 10:33 AM) When i ended bulking was at 73kgs.when finished cutting was at 65kgs. body fat % was at 18.6% dropped to 11.6%. actual target was around 8%. but didn't hit it.. and i think i've spent too much time cutting ald. so gonna get back to bulking. QUOTE(uhuk-uhuk @ Feb 21 2009, 11:31 AM) Thanks! QUOTE(kianweic @ Feb 21 2009, 11:41 AM) hehehe thanks bro.still a work in progress, its all part of the journey. QUOTE(pizzaboy @ Feb 21 2009, 07:28 PM) yeah... its a bber thing... its ok if jon din get it. am on bbing training style. but i recently added some O-Lifts into my workout routine. trying on Hang snatches and hang cleans using very light weights tho QUOTE(registryeditor @ Feb 22 2009, 12:34 AM) Neek: yeah, was actually aiming for 8%bf. but nvm, after this bulking cycle, will try to hit for 8% bf the next cutting cycle.Good progress man! nice cuts on the back. will look nicer if you can get the tricep longhead and shoulder seperations to show. btw, the sucking in tummy pose is called vacuum pose, part of the front double bicep pose. you can see arnold doing it in most of his front double biceps. yeah, the stomach vacumm is a bber thingy to create a better illusion effect. i don't really pose much so when i do the vacuum effect didn't turn out too well also. perhaps more posing practice so it looks more "natural" QUOTE(emino @ Feb 22 2009, 12:41 AM) heheh no need jealous dude, u can easily reach this lvl or better too.its all part of a process, everyone can progress, it just takes time and discipline. besides, i'm still inspired by all those fellas out there in better condition than i am. |
