i have some problem with my gps garmin
y sometime when using it automatic dim to black or off the screen?
any setting need to do?
sometime disconet from the satelite and searching again
wat happen

change it in the settings

display>backlight>always on

ok, so what are the function that really impressed you? i don't find any..

find it difficult to key in either alphabete or number... i guess that is the main problem..
handphone with button is always the best!

Anyway, i try check out the first post to find the link to the 1.93 official ROM but it was linked to a HardSPL site by XDA. Anyone could point me directly to a link to download the Official 1.93 ROM? I wanted to flash it to official ROM first and test it before HardSPL it. And talking about Official ROM, which country's version should we be using? I kinda saw a few different country from HK to Italy etc.

Got my Diamond back yesterday. They changed the whole LCD i think. But they didnt even flash it to the latest ROM for me Everything is fine. Checked the whole phone from top to bottom and it does look to be fine though.

Applied my recently bought Capdase ScreenGuard as well. Very satisfied with the quality. Recommened SP for anyone who wants to get it. Nice thickness to it as well Time to get the pouch

I got this problem before even the i already set it backlight always on. The phone just went to sleep mode, when I turn it back on, it starts searching for satelite again. Imagine that you are using it to find your way...wah lao leh...damn fed up at that time.

erm is this for Garmin or Mapking?

I will be getting the SIS pouch really soon as well. Probably end of this month i think Waited so long to get that.

Anyway, flash my firmware yesterday to 1.93 version. Kinda easy to do that. Was thinking to do HardSPL but damn, my hands just wont dare to do that

mine is like that too. it will goto sleep during navigation..damn annoying... as of now...unsolved...lazy to hard reset...need to reinstall stuff

R u refering to Garmin XT?
Strange, mine 1 OK. I mean by default it is OK. no need to do any thing.
Maybe you can try Restore default setting of ur Garmin XT first.

i believe under the garmin XT setting there got some settings u can adjust

if not then u'll have to go to your battery indicator and adjust the 'sleep' and 'power off' timing to off lo

Open Garmin, go to Tools/ Settings/Display/Backlight Override. Check the box "On When Navigating". Hope this helps!
