QUOTE(Baronic @ Aug 4 2008, 04:40 AM) teddytales, i suspect the reporting service (since i never use before) reads off from the contacts in your simcard. maybe thats why the number isnt registered. why dont u use the normal inbuilt in the pda notification? it will pop up and just say "sms has been sent"? again, if u want a review on the rom differences and updates, please view post 2 in this thread. also, yes, its normal that DIamond gets hot when in use. blame the material used as the casing I was wondering about reports too. Was using Nokia all the while and this is my 1st PDA phone. Now i feel quite awkward without the reports. Anyway the thing is, I don't even see the "sms has been sent" pop up like u said. Is there any option i should activate?

Can anyone recommend a good registry cleaner? Something simple yet does the job well. At the moment, sktools and memmaid seems to be good choices. I don't tweak registries. Just for freeing ram and cleaning purposes. Thanks a lot.

QUOTE(Baronic @ Oct 1 2008, 11:50 AM) interesting question. i dont think there is a way with the standard messaging system, but perhaps some messaging organiser would be able to do it. i think What i always do is by just dragging all messages and "right click" then delete. All will be gone including sent ones. Added on October 2, 2008, 8:43 pmIn the CD that comes with the phone, there are two backup tools. One if Diamond BackUp and another one is Sprite BackUp. What's the difference? Thanks. This post has been edited by RoMa_84: Oct 2 2008, 08:43 PM

QUOTE(maxtek @ Nov 11 2008, 03:56 AM) Hey, after you get it, do tell us how well the quality is... I was contemplating on getting one of those, but thinking it's gonna make the sound quality worse compared to normal MP3 players... Ok. Most probably in three months time. Added on November 11, 2008, 5:14 pmQUOTE(mengsuan @ Nov 11 2008, 05:03 AM) Otherwise, get HTC original Y cable. Supports charging, USB and 3.5mm audio jack at the same time. Not sure if FM radio can run. What's this Y cable? Any link?? Never heard of it. I'm not that into radio so it should be fine This post has been edited by RoMa_84: Nov 11 2008, 05:14 PM

I can't seem to delete passwords which were saved in the opera browser. I didn't even want to save them in the 1st place. Basically it saves passwords for all websites. And when i enter settings>privacy>password management>delete passwords, they disappear immediately but when i enter again, the saved passwords are still there.
What i did was to enter opera folder and deleted the wand file. This helps and opera seem to be working fine.
Can anyone help me with the proper way and set my opera so that it wont save anymore passwords? Thanks.

Maxtek, you asked about the quality of the audio jack adaptor the other day. I bought one here recently. Anyway it works real good. Good sound quality. No problems. My earphones are Bose though. Hehe. The only problem is the right angle plug. Makes it a bit hard to pull out stylus and don't look good.

QUOTE(yeahh @ Nov 24 2008, 05:54 AM) what earphones are those bro? i mean like wat model? how much did it cost u? It's Bose triport in-ear headphones. Just google it. U mean the adapter or the earphones? The earphones is around RM450 and the adapter cost me around RM45. Both in Moscow. Btw the audio jack part is gold plated. Doesn't make a large difference with the normal ones. Just don't like the right angle design. This post has been edited by RoMa_84: Nov 25 2008, 02:13 AM

QUOTE(germaise @ Nov 25 2008, 12:00 PM) Need help. Anyone can advise me how to connect to internet? Able to connect to wi-fi but not able to establish any data connection. All program cannot use ie Opera, Youtube, IE, weather update etc Any advise? Pleaseee... If i'm not mistaken data connection and wi-fi internet are two different things. Data connection is your GPRS, EDGE and HDPSA and nothing to do with the wi-fi internet. I guess you got check your wi-fi settings. Usually the free hotspots ones not easy to connect because they disconnect by themselves most of the time. This post has been edited by RoMa_84: Nov 25 2008, 06:48 PM

Want to ask about the volume buttons on the top left side. What's the difference between ring volume and sytem volume? And the icon on the top right screen...It supposed to follow the system or ring volume? Quite blur.

QUOTE(dadarouch @ Jan 16 2009, 04:12 PM) Ring = Volume of call ringtones System = Your notifications etc etc But notifications include ringtones. So when i change the system one, don't the ringing one change as well? Another this about the latest upgrade. They said it's not suitable for my device including the Southeast Asia one. Are the S/Ns located behind the phone under the battery?
