Damm woke up this morning and the batt of my Diamond flat out liow . Last night b4 sleep full charged liow. But last night got test the GPS (MapKing 2007) software before charging. Could this batt flat out related to the GPS as i had never ecperience this b4. Any one experience this b4 ?



New Diamond user here, just bought almost a week and first time testing the GPS.....

oh its back again ... dono why it couldnt read the internal storage memory thingy .... now suddenly got again... but seems like must redo my shortcuts

u test gps before charging right? it wont flat ur battery unless some application still running after charging eg. gps, wifi, bt (but dun think will flat ur battery if after full charge)

do u face tis battery problem before? drain like hell in standby mode?

it was working normally initially. but after a hard reset, and reinstallation of garmin...it became cuckoo. changing the backlight options in garmin doesnt help at all.just gotta change it in battery option everytime i wanna use garmin...

hopefully they release a new rom soon..then i ll have the reason to hard reset

@RME, your problem is because you installed wrongly. reinstall.

Added on January 16, 2009, 4:22 pmdid u play around with your pda/prgrams while your diamond is connected to the PC in Storage Card mode. Storage card mode makes your Diamond into a thumbdrive, and u cannot use any apps u installed in storage card. if u try, u'll probably get that error

Yes I tested GPS b4 charging last night. Really flat out my battery in the morning (i slept 6 hours) till the phone is totally dead. Any program for me to see if there is program running at background and not been close.

Nope for the last few days the battery was ok can last me the whole day use.

You will be able to see it via the Diamond task manager. Click on the top right icon on idle home screen and there will be a list of program running in the background.

How long did you charge your phone?

its normal tat ur battery not tahan lama, mine lasted 3 days without any use.
with GPS, evening muz charge liao.
I believe u left the GPS running in the background la, or u didnt turn off the back light.
so makan the power lo.

Want to ask about the volume buttons on the top left side. What's the difference between ring volume and sytem volume? And the icon on the top right screen...It supposed to follow the system or ring volume? Quite blur.

Ring = Volume of call ringtones
System = Your notifications etc etc
