The offer and the availability of home loans usually being specified within the clauses and terms in the LO. Banks always reserves quite a number of clauses which provide them with the room to withdraw the offers that had been issued to clients. Majority of these clauses can be categorized into:
(i) Inconsistency of information between the given and actual. It covers all information which provided and affect the approval of loan. For example, the property is told to be 2 storey but in fact, it is a 3 storey unit.
(ii) Incapability to repay the loan or low utilization of facility
(iii) Violation of regulations, laws and official guidelines
For your case, it will be very likely to fall under category (iii). Thus, the banks should have no problem in withdrawing the offer.
