@Aeon_Clock,
Citibank Shell Card is not worth it cause they only give u rebate if U have RMX balance  biggrin.gif

Ya I am using their silly classic card, only 1.5% for Shell petrol since I don't have any balance. Will cancel it once I reached my RM 20 quota tongue.gif

Will revert back to my good old DA Mastercard thumbup.gif

@vin_ann,
The 2% rebate from DA is only applicable on their MasterCard, not Visa. I believe what arsenal meant is that when U put in an application for a credit card, DA will issue U both their Visa & MasterCard! smile.gif

Yea you can find the info at http://www.citibank.com.my/APPS/portal/gen.../card_shell.htm

It is 1.5% for Classic and 2.5% for Gold (assuming no balance of debt)

For CIMB Petronas Mastercard, is it true that it is free for life only if you have a banking account with them? if not only 2 years?

Today I tried using my DA Paypass to pay for KFC, when I put my card on the device the cashier press 1 button then it says processing... after that I still need to sign, is this how paypass works? And I heard someone here mentions that Maybank Petronas Paywave can be used on paypass terminal too?

Technically, no signature is required for Visa Wave or Paypass but I experienced the similar circumstance as you at KFC with CIMB DA Mastercard Paypass.

Regarding Maybank Paywave, I didn't try it on Paypass nor Visa Wave terminal before. Perhaps others could share your experience if you have tried it.

It's free for life without conditions. Period. Who told you that you need to have a banking account with them ?

BTW ... KLCC now got Citibank redemption counter and they told me it's going to be there for the next 3 weeks. New Citibank card applicants can get a free Philips 2GB Mp3 player upon card application approval.

The caveat
- If you are using another cc as reference, make sure the card is at least 18 months old.
- Otherwise, you need 3 month payslip as reference.

I checked it out already. And the Card sales rep doesn't look particularly keen to sell their cards. hmm.gif A slight turnoff if you ask me.
