oh ok.. global equities like Alliance one is ok? Btw, is fundsupermart.com safe if i buy my bond or watever thru them? If equity fund, normally how long should i hold them? If like bond, is kind of long term investment, where u just keep money inside and topup, since it is relatively low risk.. how about equity or global equity? I dont know how to see how good is their performance >< too noob lo...

Only when you take out the capital. If you opt for your dividends to NOT be reinvested into your capital, that dividend will NOT be charged. So technically only the capital.

Guys, need a small advice here. I already invested a handful of money inside AmDynamic bonds. And now have the extra cash to invest again. Would it be more advisable to invest MORE into Dynamic bonds or is there any better bonds to invest my money?

Reason being because Dynamic currently yields one of the highest returns for investing in Malaysia bonds. Is there any better recommendation for bonds funds for Malaysia and other type of bonds?

true for
- no forex risk
- malaysian market go EPF, PNB, Khazanah etc to support

but same way the upside potential also limited
AND, how long can the support continue?

I personally think 25-33% foreign exposure would be nice icon_rolleyes.gif

What Domestic are you currently holding, mate? Dynamic being one of them I suppose, since it has one of the best returns around.

im off from eu and us market starting last 2 weeks.

i focused on local market and a bit in china market.

looks ok so far. local funds hiccups this 2 weeks and re-gained on track this 2 days.

hope it will increased more for profit taking later. im expecting 10% profit from the initial value.

last 2 weeks i managed to get 7.25%, but my decision come in late. i thought the market can go up, but it went down to 4.2%. i lost a bit on profit and now im monitoring closely. dont want the banana fruit twice liao.

may i know what fund is suitable for monthly sub-sequence investment ?
If let said Jan, i but at 0.666 NAV ( Rm 100 ), Feb at 0.588 NAV ( Rm 100 ).

The price will be average of ( 0.666 + 0.588 ) / 2 ?

(RM100 / RM0.666) + (RM100 / RM0.588) = 320.22 units (assuming 0% sales charge)

Average price/cost per unit = RM200 / 320.22 = RM0.6246

If sales charge = 5%, insert this into the calculation
RM100 / 1.05 / RM0.666

Since the fund is closed for distribution on 12 and 13 March, I guess that means the price has been adjusted for dividends?
