QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Feb 28 2012, 04:13 PM)
E.g. u put 1K now

2013 jadi 1.1K
u sell, they charge u 1.1K x 1% = 11

Only when you take out the capital. If you opt for your dividends to NOT be reinvested into your capital, that dividend will NOT be charged. So technically only the capital.

oh ok.. how do i invest in it then? i have maybank2u. For this one, is it u can pull out anytime? or u have to stay in for an amount of period? Or any other fund or trust that can intro me? Actually my father is investing in gold, but i dont have that amount >< summore he is investing in Genneva and become sort of dealer, but i don feel like i wanna join also because alot of ppl say Genneva is scam, altho i think the whole thing is not really scam like they take ur money and gone forever. So i play safe abit, wanna invest in funds..

oh ok.. global equities like Alliance one is ok? Btw, is fundsupermart.com safe if i buy my bond or watever thru them? If equity fund, normally how long should i hold them? If like bond, is kind of long term investment, where u just keep money inside and topup, since it is relatively low risk.. how about equity or global equity? I dont know how to see how good is their performance >< too noob lo...

oh ok thanks.. how about any funds/bonds that is considerable for entry ppl like me? Wat kind of portfolio would be suitable for a fresh grad? my aim is ~10%pa net ROI, means after deduct those charges. last time got amdynamic bond seems good but now closed already, need to look for alternative for long term one.

Don't think there are bonds in Malaysia that can continuously giving 10% pa every year. Once a while maybe possible.

You need to consider some equities portfolio as well if you set a target of 10% pa..

u mean taking equity fund? cos i got around 1k per month.. but my initial start is only 1k so i can choose 1 only 1st..

oh kk.. mean i need a portfolio instead of just 1 fund.. ya i know i will have a portfolio, but i don have like 10k or 5k even to get at least 5 funds running currently. Only have 1k and i think the sooner i start the better, so probably going into equity fund or bond 1st better?
