Hello sifus,
One important question, Do you guys experience some 3 very light vertical "shadow bars" close to left centre of the plasma screen when watching Astro ?? Are these shadow bars a burn-in issue ?? Or are they due to astro broadcasting issue ?? However, when I switch to DVD mode, they are not visible. They become clearer when watching football which reflect on the green pitch. They are vertically close the left centre of the screen. P/s help thanks. |

QUOTE(iamsobloodysick @ Aug 30 2008, 11:25 AM) lol, If you compare the X series with W series, the W series have a better contrast and plasma like blacks. You can do a side by side comparison and anyway, What Hi-Fi UK gave pretty good reviews for the X series.spend RM10K ++ for a X-series 40" LCD tv for gaming??!?!? if this above model cannot perform better than any other plasma or LCD tv, this is surely a no demand model. frankly speaking, X-series only can tap off a VERY small number of buyers in the market. motion flow 100Hz? can LCD tv really perform as motionless as plasma tv? guys, i doubt. |

guys, for those who have panny py800h series, what do u think of their intelligent frame creation thing? i feel that some scene is really smooth whereas some other motion is jerky lol...
btw, i hooked it up with my 4 year old dvd player via component output, dvd played looked so nice.... i wonder how real will blu ray playback look like lol... This post has been edited by confused-freaker: Aug 30 2008, 08:25 PM |

QUOTE(Kornfield @ Aug 30 2008, 08:19 PM) oh ok thanks, but is this model a good lcd? the promoter said that lcd 100hz is better than the normal lcd to watch astro, is it true? search the thread, we got talk already on this model.. ya for me 100hz is better to watch astro especially sports..im also thinking of getting this model...hmmm now panasonic got promotion, get dvd player or digital camera "free' with some lcd and plasma tv model ask the dealer about this promotion... i went to jusco wangsa maju, got panasonic promotion...got 5% discount.. but if you ask around here...you can get "better" price hehe ---------- i plan to get the pana 42PV80H, but the reflection on the plasma is really a setback for me... Better only. Not overhauling plasma tv's performance. Yet to see that coming. But, if you are talking abt price, then I would agree on that.
