You shouldn't compare 32" and 40". So my answer is Panasonic 37" 37LX800MK. For me 32" is too small unless you are used to watching 21"CTV before.

hi is that Panasonic VIERA TX-37LX80MK ?

how to check the response time? cannot find it on google

(next to the panasonic) and looks much much better in color and contrast...
the picture details also much better

so time to do a bit more research again...
maybe the cable to the panasonic not good?

now my wife ask me to get Sony 37 inch LCD TV.. doh.gif
because for her its a SONY...
this model - Sony KLV-37S400A

any comments?

the sales guy said response time is 5 ms...

also he suggested me to get the SHARP Aquos 37" model
LC37A53M or LC37PX5M which he said is best selling in japan...

---------------------------------------------

but my guts feeling tells me to get the
Panasonic TX-37800MK (100hz) or Panasonic TX-3780MK (50 hz)
will 100 hz and 50 hz makes a lot of difference? how to check the response time?
hmm.gif

also.. how come there is not much review on the Sony KLV-37S400A ? wink.gif
will the sony 37 inch be good for both astro and gaming (xbox 360 and ps3)

thanks

I have about 11 feet of sliding window too. Don't see any reflection from my plasma TV.

is the plasma tv near the windows? mine will be... shocking.gif

another question: hmm.gif

Panasonic 42PV8H vs 42PV80H

PV80H has SD Card slot and C.A.T.S (Contrast Automatic Tracking system). It has 3 HDMI inputs too. PV8H has 2.

--> Will the C.A.T.S be worth it to buy the PV80H instead of the lower price PV8H?

It has been really useful for me. My PV80 is in the living (next to 10 feet of windows with sheers). So having the set automatically adjusting brightness from full daylight conditions to fully dark night conditions is useful). My kids and wife are not good at adjusting the set's brightness, so having it do it automatically saves me a lot of nagging. smile.gif

It's worked so well for me that I won't buy another TV without CATS technology.

thanks for the info.. that is great help!
watching astro on the PV80 quality is superb, good or so-so only?
