Hi sifu2 biggrin.gif how to overclock Ram?
now im stuck in Ram frequency i think.
mine Kingston DDR2 667 2 X 1G Hynix FP-Y5 chip.
can't increase my ram freq over 750mhz shakehead.gif
timing is 5-5-5-15

That could be the limit of your rams, unless you increase the vdimm.

What's your vdimm at the moment?

Then it's probably not your rams.... did you try lowering your CPU overclock and just overclocking the rams? Could be your northbridge too....

Vmch is about 1.3-1.4v default depending on your mobo.

How high can your FSB go with that setting? Try overclocking your FSB only (meaning lower multipler for CPU and rams...)

in my bios got mch + Pcie volt and default is 1.5 volt.
aiyak..i need to do more research for my mobo liao doh.gif
seems like i need to push my mch+Pcie voltage to 1.7V! (according to pcmoding reviews)
dun want to do that..mobo dun have warranty edy lor sweat.gif

if u r on gigabyte board yes u can do that like Amedion said...most likely at 3.2GHz@1.376v...if u r on other brand mobo...i think u need more...unless u have a gem chip.. whistling.gif

indeed... i had mine on 3.0GHz @333x9 with 1:1 with tight timing smile.gif

anyway...
my E2140 passed 2hrs priming test (my personal preference...) @1.475V doh.gif laugh.gif, yeah that high... but i guess it's ok because the temp pretty low under load... @ ±60°C on ThermalRight HR-01 + AS5 Thermal Paste
