u are using SEi body?
wht engine?

im considering getting a perdana & convert E3.

since SEi body is plug n play, maybe go with the SEi

conversion to evo3 ~ Rm10K.
or maybe u can search for 2nd hand perdana with evo3 engine.

those items i wrote may cost at least Rm1K (axle, long shaft, rear knuckle, rear driveshaft, 4wd tank, etc).
not including 4wd gb.

hey guys, i need some advice. I'm wanting to get a PV6 and i know the problems about the GB and i know they can be fix. What i'm concerned is the few questions i have below :

1. Maintenance Cost & Frequency (I travel about 4,000km monthly)

2. How's the FC based on 50/50 city and highway ?

3. Are the parts reasonably priced ?

4. I have a budget of around 40k, which year should i get ?

did any body installed BONNET GAS LIFTER??..can give sum review on it??

may i know is it good to have a MIVEC MD MANUAL?rather than 6a12 tt?
or 4g63t?

1. maintenance is just as any normal car. change oil + oil filter every 5K km if using mineral oil, 7K km = semi synthetic, 10K km = fully synthetic oil. major service at 100K km. ATF change every 20K km, ATF + ATF filter kit every 40K km.
2. FC is about RM0.22 per km in town and RM0.16 per km in hiway for auto, manual maybe less about 20%.
3. yes. and got many parts from halfcut shops.
4. RM40K will get 2004 or 2005 V6.


u prefer NA or turbo?
mivec is good, tt is good and 4g63t is good. even the normal v6 is also good.
but be aware that v6 mivec parts are hard to find.
tt parts quite hard.
4g63t parts easy..

ok la, but must remember to oil it.
if the lifter stuck, u cannot open ur bonnet..

how much u brought it bro?? how long used?

had just paid deposite for a Mivex MD manual 97,outlook have to repaint,had try on Mivec MD ,not so power,but smooth,maybe it because of 17 rim and HWL spring too soft,
when compare with my current b14 sr20ve,

hi forum-er......i got a few question to ask but perdana v6 problems....

1) when gear shift,it becomes slow to 'tangkap' the gear,resulting rpm over...amende ah problem die?

2) after 11/2 day didn't start verry difficult to start (already check current leak)....iz it the battery dying already?

3) My HID one side sekejap ada,sekejap xde mcm biskut oreo plak.....ask accessories guys says some wiring problem,not HID system..


can anyone help me with this problem?? coz i really love driving this car.....

ive always wanted 2 have a go in a mivec perdana, never had a chance til now.. juz wanna test how it feels compared 2 a twin turbo perdana..

hi, what type of batery perdana v6 can use?currently use ns60 kot.haha...they said have to use ns70...betulka??bateri sudaa kong...tak bleh start

how to 'oil' it? apply grease on the outside?

bro your headlamps custom nice.....but i really hate ccfl rings, cannot tahan lama and very difficult to replace if spoilt.....sorry yaaa :P
last time use on my ex-car waja......

haha..thx bro..the CCFL can on/off wan..normally i also off it while driving..just on it sumtime for fun..

2. got current leak or not? alternator ok? grounding ok? try changing the battery la.
3. ballast ok? if wiring prob, repair it la. hehe. anyway, change back to normal h4 la, nnt kena saman baru tau..

1) Maybe kot.....just survice ATF, and 5k black oil...will do major check up and let the mechanic test drive my car....

2) Got check already, 1st was the alarm wrong wiring, settle already.....today also weak abis bcoz 2 day didnt start...mine is ns70 drycell. if the battery
then i go change next month

3) Saman aaa..... at least my hid didnt silau gila2 like MyVi's...fren of mine using 8k ony but damn like highbeam......maybe i should take a visit to a wireman to check the wiring....




well next month i know where salary will go....
