anykind of modified from simple to hardcore.. i wanna see how it look like

wat do u means but hardcore??..u can try to click in to my link then can have a look for the DONE MOD headlamp.. i like it..but too bad need funds for maintainance..

guys.....i plan to get a 2nd 2006/07 PV6, but worry if there is any major prob especially on gb. any advise?

actually it is a good ride..

as mine..brought b4 CNY..until today never have major problem come across yet..the gearbox now can find very cheap recond 1 at outside..cost bout 2k done all job..

as per today..i change all my engine belting..oil..filter..plug & etc..

hope tomolo take my ride will b like riding new car

i also worry like u b4..but now i got the car..then worry no more..u gain the bigger n luxury car..u wun think too much on the maintainance..

Yrs is 2006 onwards?

perdana v6 auto gb after mid-2005 is considered ok already.
proton has installed specific atf cooler for the gb.

before mid-2005, the cooling of the gb was connected to the radiator and it is a small cooling coil inside the bottom part of the radiator.
so the cooling was not efficient.

but like any auto gb, don't thrash it.

i overhauled my V6 around 2months ago at EON Alor Star n what i can feel is the engine is not responsive like b4... why ek?
they ask me to go back after 3000KM to adjust 'tapet' somethg.. is't got any relation ?

u did top overhaul or general overhaul (full)?

they need to adjust tappet?
why? and can adjust? i don't think so..

i think u need a re-tune of ur engine using MUT.

i did full overhaul..what is MUT btw bro? is't costly ?

MUT is the small computer thingy (mitsubishi something...) that proton uses to tune our ECU to tune our engine to optimum performance.
it costs about rm50-80 for a re-tune.

and for the adjust tappet thingy, maybe they need to adjust valve clearance or something..
maybe bcoz using new seats or seals, need to running-in first..
