The one in Philippines only complained about the ticketing system...probably something wrong wth the line/server problems & there's even complains on how to book online bcos no Credit Card doh.gif It's way back in 2006 & probably new to AA ticketing system.

Did u know that AA is consider one of the pioneer to fly in via Clark & they are the one that have promoted Clark Airport from an abandoned US airfield?...Right now I can see more airlines started to join Air Asia/Cebu Air & Tigerair as pioneers in Clark. The latest is Dragon air from Hong kong.

My flights to/fro Clark was a sweet one...no delays & touching down 1/2hr & 1hr b4 time respectively. No complains & the food although need to pay is much nicer than the free food from MAS... biggrin.gif ..BTW, for drink..u can smuggler in to AA...LCCT & Clark ssem to hv relaxed the requirement to bring in mineral water..dunno why hmm.gif

I would like to share my experience on AAX return LCCT - HangZhou, it was pretty I would say for the money that I paid...

But the thing I hated was that we had to WALK to the plane and then gotta climb the damn long steep stairs up the plane... And after walking I already sweating like a pig, and guess what they didn't turn on the air cond for like half an hour, I think they were trying to save some costs there due to a short delay...

Food was alright, I had 1901 hot dog for RM9 and luckily we paid for the baggage when making the booking because a lot of people didn't know that there wasn't any FREE checked baggage allowed, not even ONE KG!! And we thought that we wouldn't want to fight for seats, so we paid to pick our seats too, BUT surprisingly, the flights were SO EMPTY!!! So many people went to sleep on long center rows horizontally...

I think another bad thing was no entertainment!! And I overheard some people conversation saying "5 hours with AA is sooooooooo long, because there is no entertainment" And again I was lucky that I already expected that so we brought our own portable DVD player along, so that we had entertainment and most importantly we got to choose what we wanna watch too...

But my trip was actually to Shanghai so I had to stay a night in Hangzhou then I got to visit Hangzhou too then to Shanghai the next day... Extra spending on hotel stay and the train/bus trip to shanghai, but it was too late that their bus/train services were closed, it's either you stay for a night or you take a taxi to shanghai for... RMB600... But we spent RMB800 for the hotel and gotta visit Hangzhou too... But if MAS, it would be around RM2.2k compared to AAX RM1.2k, but your MAIN PURPOSE is only Shanghai then I would say taking MAS is much worth it, for that you don't have to pay the RMB600 x 2 taxi fares (2 ways) or the RMB800 hotel + around RMB200 (2 ways) for the train/bus...

Surprisingly, the flight back was SO PUNCTUAL!! Arrived exactly as expected!!

Actually AA is not that bad for the amount of money you are paying, just be ready for what you are getting, and read all the terms and conditions carefully then you will be fine...

ah ic... well, AA always announce in the flight that they practise no outside food policy... but i do see some passengers bring their own food and eat in the flight... haha... of course won't let the stewardess see it... but AA really improved a lot compared to few years back...

hey don't complain la if you get stewardess serving on AA.
I remember that they once use bangla guys on board .. hijau ? merah ? hijau? merah? shakin their head all the time.
no offence.. but i just find it wierd. the only bad experience with aa for me is that some blo**y nigerian clone my credit card and fly AA costing me 3K and airasia expect some edward mugui using malaysian credit card to board plane .
really frustrating. by the way, the stupid mbf made me pay the 3k . which I did because I was cornered.. need a good lawyer here.
now latest fraud .. clone my credit card for 10k shopping spree in china. this one I will not pay. ( they send bill collector to collect from me)

Time changed...biz will failed if all bizmen go on Biz class!..Nowadays competition is so bad...using budget airline for biz is smart choice for business!! Those going by biz class just trying to show off... biggrin.gif

U pay what u get..infact for the value u pay ..I think AA is way much better than MAS...

What i like about MAS:-

1-Stewardess is beautiful biggrin.gif (Like to see chinese and Indian wearing Kebaya)
2- Food is great
3-The cabin crew treat u as a VIP guest
4-Almost no delay(for me la since i use MAS)
5-The Entertainment for watching movie and music has lots of variety
6-U can walk around after take off and chat with the crew.
7-If im lazy,i just press the Call Button and the crew will help me
8-They have a bassinet for a baby
9-When boarding time, priority give to a mother with their kids, and sick person
10-I can have a satay and teh tarik...vely delicious
11-I like the Eco seat.can recline more tha others airlines Eco seat
12-Aircraft is quite good even its an old aircraft
13-They give a free toys to kids. They even have a kids meal
14-u can choose seat when u check in.I always go for Emergency exit seat.

What i hate about MAS:-

1-Their nasi lemak is kinda weird to me.Since when nasi lemak eat with bendi
2-Travelling to Japan.Their meal is not nice compare travel to London
3-A330 MAS aircraft is really lousy, old and need to replace to a new one.
4-Their meal box is not nice.Sandwish is cold.

What i like about AA:-

1-very cheap ticket.U pay what u get
2-Their nasi lemak i heard is nice.
3-Stewardess is sexy
4-Their airbus is new and should be no prob

What i hate about AA :-

1-The booking can be hassle
2-They didnt give priority to a mother and sick people to board first.I think they even dont provide a wheel chair
3-I saw a stewardess face like a MoOOoOOoOOoooOOOooOOOoOOOOoooOoN
4-Seat is to narrow.

This is my 2 cent thumbup.gif

don't really have problem with AA. have been using AA since 2004...4 years dy and all I can say is AA really improved a lot.
nonetheless, there are still some 'bad experiences' that i encountered.

1) People are too kiasu. 30 minutes before the announcement of boarding, people already line up in front of the door. What's the point. The seat won't run away. Confirm got enough seat for you. I always got to see where I wanted evetually - in the middle of the plane so I can see the 'wing'.

2) AA is famous for delaying. I remember almost everytime I can predict it will be 2 hours later than the actual boarding time. But there's one day I was delayed 2 or 3 times in a single flight.

3) AA's seat too hard...Not like MAS's....so comfortable.

4) AA's air stewardness...should learn from MAS's air stewardness how to make up la.

5) Got one time it was raining cat and dog at the airport...pilot didn't dare to land...ended up going round and round above the sky for 1/2 an hour... then announce to us the fuel was almost empty.....some people got panicked lol.
