AA is a successful company by knowing how they started up long time ago.. it's really facinating as in how many cheapo planes they started with and make it till today but then we are still paying the cheapest air fare...

we seriously can't expect much as in u're paying almost free air fare.. what else do u expect? It's because of their service, their stuff on plane and how unexperience they are that allows passenger to get air fare for super low price.. not to forget they need the money to advertise.. tell us that there's new super low air fare and blah blah stuff...

come on.. as long as u're safe on the plane.. it's all good!

Well I also face flight delayed for almost 3 hours recently on way back from Jakarta to KL. AA should apologise on this matter or provide free snacks to compensate the time loss, frustation and anger of his customer.
They can accuse people of creating problem when miss out the boarding time, but when when it come to their own inefficiency (flight delay), why keep silent about it. I know its a cheap fare but customer service is about pleasing customer, not frustating them.
I may take AA again for its fares but MAS still No. 1 in customer service and they have higher expectation rather than 'o.k lah' pay less why making so much noise type of AA.

my father is off 2 china... not back yet

but recently in d newspaper got an article bout foreigners stranded in the LCCT because AA change d embarking time and close d counter earlier.with no earlier notice.. zzzz

they want compensation because they were not told earlier... and want AA to pay for lodging and food... but AA just say 'no'

so in this case hotel and food would already cost more than the diff between mas n AA...

don't really have problem with AA. have been using AA since 2004...4 years dy and all I can say is AA really improved a lot.
nonetheless, there are still some 'bad experiences' that i encountered.

1) People are too kiasu. 30 minutes before the announcement of boarding, people already line up in front of the door. What's the point. The seat won't run away. Confirm got enough seat for you. I always got to see where I wanted evetually - in the middle of the plane so I can see the 'wing'.

2) AA is famous for delaying. I remember almost everytime I can predict it will be 2 hours later than the actual boarding time. But there's one day I was delayed 2 or 3 times in a single flight.

3) AA's seat too hard...Not like MAS's....so comfortable.

4) AA's air stewardness...should learn from MAS's air stewardness how to make up la.

5) Got one time it was raining cat and dog at the airport...pilot didn't dare to land...ended up going round and round above the sky for 1/2 an hour... then announce to us the fuel was almost empty.....some people got panicked lol.

regarding the stewardess,i think they dont have a training schoold for grooming.Unlike MAS, everything must be perfect and they also provide the crew with free make up..I think AA dont provide that but i wonder why AA Crew is so much diferent from others Europe airline?I mean, the way they grooming?Europe low cost airlines much more better. shocking.gif

totally agree with no.1... i just don't get it why the ppl are so kiasu... there's no difference where you're sitting as long as there's a sit available since everyone will still arrive at the same time... and the stewardess... they really should tie up their hair... will look more professional and clean... ya, AA should improve their customer service... especially the on ground staff...

one hour?? there's one time when we landed at LCCT and it's raining... i don't think we have to wait for 1 hour for them to prepare the umbrella... only that my luggage was fully wet at one side...

please read, water bottles are acceptable on domestic flights. the limitation of 100ml bottles for liquid, aerosols and gasses are only applicable to international flights; and these rules are only SET by the MAB, not airasia. same thing happens if you're to catch a flight from the MTB.

What i hate about AA :-

1-The booking can be hassle
2-They didnt give priority to a mother and sick people to board first.I think they even dont provide a wheel chair
3-I saw a stewardess face like a MoOOoOOoOOoooOOOooOOOoOOOOoooOoN
4-Seat is to narrow.
This is my 2 cent thumbup.gif

In the LCC business model:
1) your booking systems caters for heavy traffic daily, hourly, etc. hiccups do happen as computers are ALSO like human beings - they're not perfect.
2) you pay to be prioritised. for now, those above 60 gets priority boarding and you can get a ground staff to assist you with a wheel chair for a small sum of RM10, which again boils down to the chinaman LCC model - nothing is free.
4) between 29"(airasia) and 31"(MAS), i don't know what kind of comparison can you make over seat pitch?

as for the LAG ruling, it is being enforced by MAB to justify the increase in airport tax. please just do some research as not ALL countries ban the bringing in of LAG.
