I would be very cautious before buying into a claim like that. Even if it were true, I'd say international students would find it much harder to find a job due to:-

1) Residency requirements;
2) Lack of Australian work experience;
3) Lack of English proficiency and lack of finesse in performing in interviews.

Ermm... 4 Season... actually they have it, but for me, i feel like only winter and summer.
Yesterday and today are getting warm... I sweat alot here...

Yeah...work one week here u can get a nice 22" lcd Monitor. Save for one month you can get a GOOD pc. Dun forget, you can even rent a pc here for only from $14.95 a week.

They bad news for me this weeks is, the hell petrol are hit another record 152.9!

yeap, i agree with you. Even australia is good, but it is just stepping stone.Not many want Intl student given job and the pool usually go back country.Only good/HDs stay..

not sure how much is the fuel now, but it was around 139.2 last week here. >.< so expensive, and my sis just got her car =.= lol. I'm so not gonna get a car here, use transperth is convenient enough. xD

i think those asian eateries all has no min wage 1.....they din record u into employment....they juz pay u cash....no tax....no insurance....so if chop of finger in the kitchen.....just say u were juggling knives when u were busking at Fed Square...and 'accidentally' cut urself...... tongue.gif tongue.gif

Its 148.9 here in Brisbane. I don't drive a car, as I find public transport (and my bike) is enough to get me around and to uni. I do miss the flexibility of a car through, but looking at the $15/hr my uni charges for parking, any idea of getting a car is erased.

And if you're 18, and even in the lowest bracket, and being paid $5/hr, something doesn't sound right. What are you working as babiix?

Getting warm is good, much, much better than experiencing cold...i am not really a winter fan... laugh.gif
