i am curious to know the performance of 7300GT SLi too. but fairing it against 9800GT is, IMO, a bit too much to ask for. The 7950GX2 (im assuming 7950GT SLI on par with 7950GX2?) is only somewat on par with the older 8800GTS G80, let alone 9800GT.

someone did try 7300GT SLi a long time ago... and compared it with a 7900GT..

3dmark score it totally whooped the 7900GT...

but when it comes to real world gaming performance.... 7300GT SLi was crap compared to the 7900GT.

Bro.. giv it a try sli ur 7300gt la.. hehe or grab a 8800gt (2x is better) instead??

haha, nah, waste of money only . . . and 88gt already tried sli-ed them b4, had fun, now wanna try gtx series . . . but im waiting for the new release 1st.

Hello SLI experts!!!

I need some help here..
Thinking wanna try SLI here with my Galaxy 9800GT...
Currently I'm using P5N-D mobo.. ( lame huh?)
Well u noe this mobo, the distance between 2 pci-e slot are very near.
Kinda afraid to buy a dual slot GC to SLI since the temperature might rise like hell. and fried up my GC..

Need some advice here on should I bought another Galaxy 9800GT or look for single slot GC like XFX/Leadtek 9800GT?

wat is ur current gc temp? If its around 60-70 load, its should be ok to sli both. If ur so afraid, then just get a single slot.

Currently a single Galaxy 9800GT only rise up to 64oC on load.. But I feared if I add up another Galaxy 9800GT at the lower slot, the upper one would not have enough room for air and the temp will rise up.. Anyone had this experience?

dun afraid bro coz it will go well with ur set up .... im using 9800gtx+ i makan 2 slot bro the gap is close but the temp is ok to me 60degrees.. still cn play games ...

go go and set up n post some pics n screenies here . . . a cooler which is single slot . . . thermalright t-rad is single i think, but it costs a bomb. Besides that . . . ac, xigmatek . . . good coolers take up 2 slots.

Erm.. currently only 2 manufacturer came out with a single slot 9800GT XFX and Leadtek.

Now kinda worried if SLI XFX with Galaxy might have a problem since Galaxy still using 65mm core..

dunt waste ur time on those, seriously, just stick with the stock cooler is better. Anyways ur only getting 64C load, thats fairly good temps i would say.

NOPE.......

Zotac also has 9800GT single slots... i know coz im using the Zotac 9800GT Amp! which is a single slot...
