QUOTE(Mavrix @ Oct 12 2008, 05:08 PM) I tried using the lastest one, but still no option to enable it..QUOTE(S4PH @ Oct 12 2008, 05:08 PM) I searched in the bios, but there's no option there..QUOTE(mADmAN @ Oct 12 2008, 06:08 PM) My rig spec:Intel Q6600 2.4GHz, Abit FP IN9 SLI, 2GB Kingston DDR2 RAM, 2xGigabyte 8500 GT, 2x180 GB WD SATA HDD, 550W Huntkey SLI Ready PSU, Windows XP Professional SP3. Yes, both GC is 8500 GT.. The option to enable SLI is not in the nTune control panel, but my GPU-Z detect both GC and "SLI available", and I can't enable it.. I searched through the internet for this problem, and still can't find any solution. |

QUOTE(Mavrix @ Oct 12 2008, 10:20 PM) Myb ur mobo hav some issue.. try get another sli mobo and put ur 2 GC into it.. I don't think my mobo got problems..lent from ur frens or shop or anywhere.. Mine just get into ntune and enable the sli option there... or try donload latest driver for the gc.. or try google, see if ur mobo spec support 8500gt gc type for sli.. Maybe one of my GC is the problem.. Last 6 month, the GC damaged and it went RMA.. Got repaired and sometimes when I play games, it crash.. I've downloaded the latest ntune, nforce and forceware. Still, the system did not auto recognize and show the SLI config.. I'm thinking of buying 2 9800GT next year.. |

QUOTE(ianho @ Oct 14 2008, 04:03 PM) Did u switch on the SLI mode on ur mobo? Ur mobo is using the ol skool method by switching around the switch card circled in yellow in the pic. I did switch it to SLI mode.![]() my gpuz detect "SLI available", but in nTune, the option to enable SLI is not there. both 8500 GT is detected, and i switch between both PCIE slots. still, its not there... |

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Oct 14 2008, 07:54 PM) wait a minute.... i just remembered something...dunno correct or not... i see...for n680i mobo the SLI thingy is software based...hence u get the SLI option in the driver.. but for n650i its hardware based....so by right.... once u switch the card around..ur SLI should be enabled with or without the driver if im not mistaken la... how about u try running 3dmark05 with 2 cards.... then remove 1 card and run 3dmark05 again.... compare the marks... if ur 3dmark05 with dual cards is higher...that means u should be alright.... but my GPUZ display "Disabled (SLI available)" i've tried running both cards in Race Driver: GRID, and i noticed something.. the fps is slightly increased when i played the game.. i'm not so sure bout it, whether it was enabled or not.. QUOTE(ianho @ Oct 14 2008, 09:10 PM) Then mebe u can try turning the SLI bridge between the gfx cards, the other way. Some of them only work in SLI with the bridge in 1 direction. i've switched it many times, still the same.it did not auto detect on nTune.. i'm so pening right now.. |

QUOTE(lytros @ Oct 17 2008, 01:39 PM) Oh i didn't know XFX came out with a 750i mobo. Looks like they trying to do better than evga's version. But isn't the rear panel clear cmos button a little risky? Especially when you have people with itchy hands around your pc.... they just did, few weeks ago..i think it is...but i'm not sure bout that setting la.. and i do have some people with itchy hands around my PC.. maybe it can be deactivate in the BIOS.. the new XFX mobo looks nice...and got ESA too hope the price is affordable.. |

QUOTE(zzzz52 @ Oct 27 2008, 11:22 AM) true, but that mobo using an old nForce 570i chipset..consider buying the latest mobo with latest chipset..like nForce 780i or 750i SLI.. 750i mobo is cheaper.. This post has been edited by nas06: Oct 27 2008, 01:10 PM |

QUOTE(zzzz52 @ Oct 27 2008, 10:02 PM) Ya, it is a old chipset, but for normal SLI, is it worth to buy cause i'm on a budget? Is there a big difference between the old and new chipset? okay, if ur on a budget, how much is it?Using a E6600 and Manli 9600GT 512mb planning to SLI it. there are many big differences between old and new chipsets. new chipsets allow better performance, overclocking, and new technologies like PCIE 2.0... for a head start, i think u better take a look at 650i or 750i nForce mobo.. or even better the 780i mobo (recommended) like me, i bought the Abit FP IN9 SLI which using 650i nForce chip, for a beginner on budget. everything depends on how much ur budget really is to build an SLI system... QUOTE(Mavrix @ Oct 27 2008, 10:36 PM) I've contact bro karom, the one that brought in evga mobo's, said that the xfx 750i is currently not in our market yet.. even in lyp accpet for the 750a which is for the AMD proc.. i see...maybe they will arrive late this year... can't wait.. btw, how much is EVGA's 750i mobo? is it any better than the ASUS P5N-D SLI? |
