I saw that compuzone that they are selling P5nSLI for only RM175, is it true??
*
true, but that mobo using an old nForce 570i chipset..
consider buying the latest mobo with latest chipset..like nForce 780i or 750i SLI..
750i mobo is cheaper..

Ya, it is a old chipset, but for normal SLI, is it worth to buy cause i'm on a budget? Is there a big difference between the old and new chipset?

Using a E6600 and Manli 9600GT 512mb planning to SLI it.

okay, if ur on a budget, how much is it?
there are many big differences between old and new chipsets.
new chipsets allow better performance, overclocking, and new technologies like PCIE 2.0...
for a head start, i think u better take a look at 650i or 750i nForce mobo..
or even better the 780i mobo (recommended) thumbup.gif
like me, i bought the Abit FP IN9 SLI which using 650i nForce chip, for a beginner on budget.
everything depends on how much ur budget really is to build an SLI system...

i see...
maybe they will arrive late this year...
can't wait..
btw, how much is EVGA's 750i mobo?
is it any better than the ASUS P5N-D SLI? hmm.gif

Evga 750i mobo is around rm700++!! That the price from bro karom's at the bulk order thread. Just key in karom then u see...

yes the price is high right?? add another 200 u can get the 780i mobo..

But there's a review on xbit labs website says the mobo is quite impressive!! Thats why im considering it too.. but some says that the xfx750i is even cheaper, myb around rm500 below if it come to our shore..

Added on October 28, 2008, 1:04 amAnd its way better than the asus one...(in term of OC'ability, the evga beats the asus in stability)

Added on October 28, 2008, 1:08 amCorrection!
The mobo is EVGA 750i FTW!! Its the sec gen 750i mobo from evga if im not mistaken...

I think it is better to OC the cards individually and find the maximum clocks coz ur 2 cards might not hav the same OC ability....

afaik , the 750i FTW is the best 750i around. if you want clock high and games with SLI , thats a good board.
hoho , GTX280 SLI + 4.2GHz E8600 ? tongue.gif
