Hello SLI experts!!!

I need some help here..
Thinking wanna try SLI here with my Galaxy 9800GT...
Currently I'm using P5N-D mobo.. ( lame huh?)
Well u noe this mobo, the distance between 2 pci-e slot are very near.
Kinda afraid to buy a dual slot GC to SLI since the temperature might rise like hell. and fried up my GC..

Need some advice here on should I bought another Galaxy 9800GT or look for single slot GC like XFX/Leadtek 9800GT?

Help me out SIFUs!!

Currently a single Galaxy 9800GT only rise up to 64oC on load.. But I feared if I add up another Galaxy 9800GT at the lower slot, the upper one would not have enough room for air and the temp will rise up.. Anyone had this experience?

Erm.. currently only 2 manufacturer came out with a single slot 9800GT XFX and Leadtek.

Now kinda worried if SLI XFX with Galaxy might have a problem since Galaxy still using 65mm core..

Man.. now makes me confuse which GC I should take..
Definitely I cant take Zotac for SLI since it will drop to the reference speed of my Galaxy..

If ASUS EN9800GT HybridPower Glacier HSF, it took up a size to 2 slot since the HSF is big

GUYSS!!! HELP ME OUT!!
Why after I enable my SLI (2x XFX 9800GT).. There are no diffrence at all in FPS???? (tried with Farcry2, no differences and 3dmark06 , only increase 3++) WHYYY??? Feel wanna die already...

Arr?? Really?? 30%~40%?? So I supposed to gain atleast 2+++ since single card is around 10k.. SLI should be 13~14k rite?
Now increase only 2++~3++ only! still stuck at 10k..

I dun now if FarCry2 support SLI or not.. but again Crysis also shows the same thing.. Even a lower FPS than single card!

My PSU currently is Vantec ION2+ 600W.. True Power with 7+% efficiencies.. Is it not enough?

Really weird here... Is it true only at high res we may c the diff?

Currently just used the OC profile at BIOS setting (5%) .. Not brave enough to OC to a higher setting with only CM Sphere.. (a waste CPU cooler, luckily its free)

Yeah I did and it just the only setting I can set since im using the trial version

Ermm.... but I do notice some huge FPS increase during the "Canyon Flight"
test. It goes up to 1++ fps when SLIed than single card which up to 5+ fps only.. but the others test show the same fps with single card..

Should I OC my proc to reach at least 3.0GHz? Erm.. might tried it but need to learn more about OCing first..

Yeah.. I did when I installed the game.. Kinda weird since only Canyon Flight had shown a increase of performance..

Oo? I never knew X58 would b able to support SLI too.. I thought it only support CF. Haha

Hi everyone!! Finally overcome my prob with the no fps or benchmark increase with my 9800GT SLI!

Based on Mavrix's suggestions before, I tried to OC my E8200 from 2.8GHz up to 3.2GHz. Not too stable but be able to complete my benchmark, and I got from only 10k up to 13k!!

Since Im too noob in OCing .. So, just bought the e8500 and tried this proc with a single card, 3dmark06 shows 11k and with SLI I achieved up to 14k!!

Later I'll post some screenies
