I can see ONE platinum has more benefit than the other platinum? Why the other platinum has less benefit but income requiment so high since both also same annual fee? If like that all also will choose ONE platinum ma correct or not?  hmm.gif

If both not same, why I call 2 time UOB they all also say ONE card is also platinum.. so ONE platinum same like classic or gold card?  sad.gif

I called Maybank CS regarding the change of statement date. They said that it's a combined credit card account for the cards you have. Meaning if you alter the date of one card, the rest will be affected as well.

I hold a UOB Platinum and there are many other exclusive benefits compared to normal Classic/Gold (just like any other Platinum cards). Plus, you have a special hotline to call instead of the normal general number. The annual fee is waived as long as you have at least 6 transactions a year so literally, it's free smile.gif The ONE Platinum is targeted for younger people and have many other privilledges as well (they gave it to me but haven't used at all till today).

siutimtim, different banks would have different benefits but HSBC Platinum is not bad. The tough part is the annual income requirements are pretty high too biggrin.gif

How long will my card be activated? I took this card up strictly for online purchases

If you have annual income more than 100K, could be. Or if you put FD a lot in their bank. Not sure about the credit limit for platinum. But usually gold is around 10K,  unless you request to be reduce or upgrade.

I'm holding a HSBC Classic Card but my limit is already RM13K thumbup.gif
Actually I've called up HSBC to clarify, they don't have an upper limit for their card.

If u got lotsa credit card in hand, obvioulsy it will be easy for u to apply any bank u want, but if u r new, they will consider before giving u credit card, but normally if with annual fees is not worth it, but as i know, for UOB, u just need to do 6 transaction within 1 year, then ur annual fees will be waived... and UOB online not bad, can pay streamyx and maxis bill =) with rebate summore

Hi guys, another noob question.
I've been issued two CC by UOB, mastercard and visa.

If I want to pay by CDM can I pay the amount for both card
by using just only one card? since it's from the same bank.
Or do I have to do it seperately?

btw, how to know which card is principle and which one is supplementary?

One foolish question here for those who have cancelled the CC. Do you still keep all the old monthly statements?

After cancellation of HSBC Visa, they stop to generate statement for it. This month, I'll be expecting one statement from my HSBC Mastercard.

UOB got 1 feature that's available at their CDM, cheque facility & GIRO/IBG facility payment which is the Auto Apportionment system. If you pay in full, then it shouldn't be a problem as it will auto allocate the funds between both MC and VISA (or even supplementary) cards.

However, if you have outstanding balance on your account / partial payment - the bulk of the apportionment will go to the account which is incurring the most interest. Should be OK in most cases unless you have a case where you wish to pay all in 1 card and pay just minimum in the other account. (Or something similar) Here you would need to specify NOT to auto apportionment your payments at the CDM & cheque deposit facility. It won't work if you perform the GIRO/IBG and probably you need to make an extra phone call to the CS to readjust your payments between the accounts.

I destroy my statements after they are 2 years old. (Statuary requirements is 7 years but I think keeping 7 years of bills is rather too much) Some of my statements are already in PDF format. I have a general preference these days for banks which can option out from paper format. (Wish all banks do this for their cc and account statements)
