s963 using 9cm fan while s1283 using 12cm fan.
both also performed quite good.
however s1283 should perform better and quite than s963 since it is using 12cm fan, maybe around 3 degree celcius.
if i'm not mistaken, dblooi is using s963 too coz last time he did show us the picture and recommanded this cooler to me.
u can refer to http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/535348/+300 post#305
maybe u can ask the seller whether the ur casing/mobo can fit s1283 or not... http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=483850&hl= smile.gif

Well, Biostar using solid capacitors around the CPU socket for lasting longer compared to aluminium electrolytic capacitors

In somewhat unrelated to AMD discussion here, I've seen an Intel Mainboard that use entirely solid capacitors. uhh that so expensive, but I know it can last longer.

reference to wikipedia website:

OS-CON capacitor

This is aluminum electrolytic capacitor:

my latest superPI is up.
I think this would be the best ever I can get without ice or subzero temp.
Kinda headache to get that...
Check it at the overclocking database.

Have problem going >3555mhz hmm.gif

I do hope other people join in also. whistling.gif

i google on asus m3a and i found out something quite confusing lah.. on the special features they stated:-

- vDIMM: 8-step DRAM voltage control
- vChipset: 4-step Chipset voltage control

what actually its means by STEPs??..got preset voltage??can not set it manually?? hmm.gif

for vdimm it should starts with 1.8/1.9v as default, 8 steps make it 2.6/2.7v in max. smile.gif
