[attachmentid=361967]

All hardwares are as of my siggy, except for the waterblock which is the whitewater instead of my current apogee GT (D-tek Fuzion tomorrow rclxm9.gif)

Been running this setting for a week 24/7, gaming, working and its solid as of now and this setting passed memtest for 24 hrs as well icon_rolleyes.gif

w/o oc consumes less electricity

that line have problem...
even with stock clock.. some cpu also eat all da power too... like old p4 ht
no clock in stock like turtle pc for me now when using oc system... after so many years...
my own opinion is use the oc system is far far more better than stock..
electric bill different for month maybe 10 ringgit only... but performance is twice the speed.... of stock..

if you dun prime 24 hours daily .. it use not much electric too even pump to voltage 2 volt... no heavy use ... it won't use power...

just share my point =)

from what i tested... i know it is not ram limit me... but the cooling is the one ...

we are going no where around 3.4x with air cooling...
but at this speed is the most stable clock the cpu can gain....
i can boot to windows with 3500mhz but cannot even prime...
pump more vcore... pc auto shutdown...
from my exp .. that is abit uguru is protecting me from killing the cpu by direct shut down the pc... the cpu temp cannot maintain at certain level...
and it direct jump to to the cpu limit set in bios... something like your temp is 60'C and sudden go to 80'C

only water cooling can go beyond that limit with unstable system in high clock =P

are u lapping your cpu?
put the sand paper on the mirror or glass.... and lap it (read from a guide in ocmania)
that is the perfect contact u can get... but i never done it before...
it will be awesome if someone can show any different temp between lap or not lap ... =)

all cpu comes in batch and preselected and assign the clock

maybe i sell this cpu if got phenom choice in future laugh.gif but not now..
looks like 9600 phenom black edition is a solid choice to buy

Wow..3GHz stable. How bout the Errata issue when oc to the speed?

-pWs-

still got that issue in b2 core...
they disable the TLB errata to gain that speed...
only B3 core in Q1 2008 is gonna release without that bug...
that's all i read ...
hope AMD do comes back ....
personally never touch phenom before laugh.gif

image quality actually ati is the king... well known ATI
high fps nvidia is the king...
lower cpu usage for hddvd / bluray playing... even mpeg2... ati is the king...
less driver issue is ATI...
always driver problem nvidia...

i am nvidia user and ati user before... that's what i know...

Add me as F3 user. 1st attempt but it seem I set Vcore too high. Any recommended Vcore here?

Advise for M2N32 Sli Deluxe user, DO NOT upgrade BIOS to 1503 unless you are running Phenom. There are several major bugs in it. It lock HT Link as 1X, PCI-E has bandwidth issue, cause extreme loss of graphic performance. My 3D Mark 06 drop to 6200 from 9300. After flash back, I manage to break own record to 10800.

[attachmentid=364245]

Any advise for me to OC this proc kau kau? Not my proc, can do whatever I like, keke.
*
i think u dun even need to pump vcore on that speed..

oic.Meant other voltage wont affact the stability of the system? But now i set 1.4625V 267x10.5  2.3Vdimm 400Mhz 4 4 4 12.It's stable. But i tried to push up more it cant stable to pass orthos run and booting up system.I shld adding by where?
*
amd cpu have the limit... pushing more vcore that doesn't even help improve the stability of it means u just hit the wall....
u can drop the clock and prime until u can find the stable clock it can support...
drop vcore slowly and prime to find the best vcore for it....
i already tested a lot 4000+ and they almost dun like to climb to 3ghz stage....

5000+ black edition might be the nice upgrade to gain 3.2ghz with multiplier change to 16x
i just tested 5000+ just now and it can even go to windows with 3.0ghz without adding vcore but no futher test...
3.2ghz can boot with default vcore but blue screen at windows means it want more more vcore laugh.gif

probably you have no idea about what is F3 windsor  whistling.gif
alive88's vcore is consider too high adi for him to do 3.0GHz

check this out, what can a F3 windsor do at 1.475v brows.gif
*
my cpu cannot gain any stability over 3.4.... any other push will prime fail...
cannot boot to 3.5 but pc also shut down.... must be heatsink cannot tahan sudden peak of temp...

QUOTE(rainingzero @ Dec 22 2007, 08:30 PM)
F3 is the real gem for AMD lor...G1 is another testing proc by amd i guess. the G2 is better..
*
i think b1 and b2 is da same cpu... only b2 can clock higher only...
the cpu cache latency for both is same speed....

wait i rich 1st hehe...
black edition temp reading is also wrong from what i know =X
but someone manage to clock it to 3.4 ... i dunno that is stable clock or not =X

the latency is more giving it to clock more higher....
same as ram latency... u may see why ddr3 latency so high with higher mhz...
it is due to 65nm technologies...
more smaller capacitor less heat...

for k8 am2 proc

number of transistors
