helo OClokers,im new here,so really2x noob lah on OC..i want to OC my amd x2..can anyone give me guidance??
the frist step to the final step for OC my AMD..
this is my spec`s:

amd X2 5600 (2.8Mhz
mobo :- asus M2NPV-VM
ram :- 2 stick kingston 1 gb PC-6400 DDR2-800mhz
power supply:- gigabyte ODin Pro 550w

hi guys need some help here or advice...i just starting OC,after a few hour i managed to boot to windows(yeh2x) frist try man.. .. but i just can get 2912 mhz out from the stock 2800 mhz (stock) cannot get to 3Ghz,even my ram frequency just 416mhz only..try to raise FSB more but its failed cannot go thru window..

this are my current setting: if im doing it wrong please advice me

CPU settings:
RAM voltage: 1.9v(default)
CPU multiplier: 13x
FSB: 224

RAM settings:
RAM speed: DDR800
TCL: 5
TRCD: 5
TRP: 5
TRAS: 11
TRC: AUTO
TRWT: AUTO
1T/2T Memory timing: AUTO


by the way my Rig is

proc: Amd x2 5600 (2.8GHz)
mobo: m2npv-vm(not have to much OC option)
Ram: 2 gb kingston pc-6400

hope you guys can advice me to achieve my goal for 3GHz and higher ram frequency...

ok thanks bro..will try it now..i cant pump up more voltage to the ram..this mobo really suxxs..all voltage cannot be alter... how abt my ram timing is ok or not??

so guys need ur advice i want to change my mobo.mobo dat im using now i cant OC much lah(is a crap mobo).. so any recommend..a gud want lah can serious bad ass OCing for gaming rig .if can i want with pci-e 2.0 x16 SLI one..(fuuh so fuzzy lah)

yaa i know is cheap but u just add rm10 more you can get asus m3a mobo..dont know abt its capability for OC lah..
which is better m3a or m3a32-mvp mobo??i know the m3a32-mvp use 790fx chipset..but is way freakin expensive man..

yes the price is reasonable..how abt the quality can OC kaw2x ka?? .hope can control all the voltage.
i google on asus m3a and i found out something quite confusing lah.. on the special features they stated:-

- vDIMM: 8-step DRAM voltage control
- vChipset: 4-step Chipset voltage control

what actually its means by STEPs??..got preset voltage??can not set it manually??

ya lah need to invite those dat oredi use TA770.try google on this mobo but doesnt have much review lah..if is great for overclock and durability i think i will get this mobo,..who want a mobo dats after Oc kaw2x but can tahan for 2-3months only.to me durability is importants also.

after i read thru this thread i found out most of you guys match OUr proc wit ATI HD 3870 rather than nvidia 8800gt/gts or gtx..why haa.??with ati is really super duper Great ka interm of graphic performance ??or maybe it because ATI is from AMD too..IF ATI claims to be great gc than nvidia..can someone from you all dats experience using ATI HD3870 show some prove or any article related on these two giant GC brand.

so ta770 is it great for OCing??any confirmation results yet??i really serious to get a mobo end of this month..any brand should be ok(budget i dont care one).as long can OC kaw2x lah .so i will kill my F3,and have a reason to take phenom .so all otai2x overclock recommend me lah one great mobo.i pening kepala oredi..

ya lor.i also wanna know the OC potential of this mobo..i heard you can pump up the vdimm voltage kaw2x punya(2.9v)..but the vcore tak tahu lah..there are some review on this mobo on hardware thread..take look lah..smua org like scare nak try this mobo..need someone dats have little bit extra money buy this mobo OC kaw2x and give review on it..but i wonder siapa berani nak buat mcm tu maa??
