Would like to reconfirm that when topping up Bigpay, the recorded transaction's Date & Time is the actual local Date & Time?
Bigpay cant be used for Lazada purchases.

Sometimes can sometimes can't. Just successfully purchase something on lazada via BigPay

Some CB is very time sensitive, so just want to be safe.
For Lazada ewallet, if topup b4 8am, it will become yesterday's transaction.

Regarding the card issuer, I did ask BigPay customer service by email

" Dear BigPay,
I like to know that sometime when I doing online transaction with debit / credit card, there is a column request for card issuing bank. What should I choose since BigPay is not a bank?
Regards"

This is the reply I got
"Hey Chai,

Noted on your enquiry. You must fill in the column for card issuer as "Tune Money Sdn Bhd or TPaay Asia Sdn Bhd". You can see the card issuer name printed behind your BIG PAY card.

Hope it is clarified!

Have a good day!

Regards,

DASA
The BigPay Team"

Hope that help.

Will try that.

On second thought is it safe to save a prepaid card in an online account?

If I get this correctly, topping up Bigpay card with cc will get cashback from cc, and using Bigpay for any purchase will collect Bigpoints. So is like double reward? Is this too good to be true? or the "gou shou" here all already earning double reward like nobody's business?

Yes BigPay offers potentially dual rewards from your credit card top up and use of Big Pay. Bear in mind, (for example) an AA one way flight from KUL to DMK (Don Mueang, BKK) will potentially set you back 10,500 points (excluding taxes).

Relying on BigPay points alone will potentially cost you over RM400k in spendings before you could benefit in this example. (RM400k - you might as well buy the ticket which is cheaper than to spend RM400k) So, please practice spending prudence - the points are just extra which serve as a reward for your regular spendings.

I see the benefit is when you spend in non MYR dominated spendings where BigPay uses a more attractive forex rate vs any other banks. (or even the money changer I think) However one would need to be mindful of the occasional occurrences where BigPay cards are rejected. So, don't throw/keep you credit card + debit cards just yet.
