i guess the bank name is required, probably due to legacy system requirements, or payment gateway's payment page design (e.g. cannot be left empty, so any value is accepted though no validation is performed).

I just made AIA payment via its portal, Issuer Bank i put 'BIGPAY', there was no matching 'bank' name with that, but since it's a open text field, it accepts and transaction was successful.

The old Big Prepaid Mastercard (BIN: 559998, issued before 1/2018) is related to CIMB. You can use CIMB CASA and CDM to top up.
New card is called BigPay but use the same BIN: 559998.

My experience with 11 street, in the card issuer drop box - Tune Money is available and transaction was successful.

GE autodebit, bank name : CIMB, successful.

My taobao falls under food and beverage.. lol

According to BigPay:

Unless they practise pre-authorized amount. I think their concern is your prepaid card had not enough balance to pay when you arrived your destination. This will create a lot of operational headache.

Logic and reasonable concern. If so, wonder how the Form submission would assist in eliminating the insufficient fund of added prepaid card.

Debit cards are similar with prepaid cards as they rely on available funds. Yet it is much more accepted in Grab.
The logic is rather baffling.

I applied on 1st May (public holiday), verification was done on next day when business resumed. Pretty fast.
Maybe these days high volume of application and it is slower. Can try contacting their team via FB for assistance, they are quick in replying.
