they will always tell you that withdrawal is allowed.

however, they doesnt disclose upfront, their backend fraud detection criteria.

e.g.

x times withdrawal/p2p transfer per day/week/month?
x amount withdrawal/p2p transfer per day/week/month?

due to ewallat regulations by bnm, each ewallet service provider need to set their detection criteria, whether actively detect-and-prevent or via manual reporting. any transactions that triggers/breaches the criteria will flag the internal team to review your usage behavior.

problem is, each ewallet provider has different fraud detection criteria. unsure.gif

Hi guys. I have a few questions here.
1. If I topup rm10k in it and I use the card in US, I have the option to choose to pay in USD or MYR right? (In which payment in USD would be the best?)
2. It's stated that there's some cross border fee + currency conversion fee. But I heard from some people that right now there's no fee for overseas transaction for a period of time? Any idea when it will be until?
3. Is using bigpay for retail payment a lot beneficial compared to using normal debit card in US?
4. Is there any maximum withdrawal amount in USD, considering overseas cash withdrawal is costly, one would definitely withdraw a lump sum in every withdraw.

2. See

Once their customer base is large enough then they start charging. devil.gif
3. I think normal US debit card is better. Combine that with moneymatch/instarem (if you have US bank acciunt)
4.Not sure.

I will be in US for about 5 months for my exchange program. Is it adviced to open a bank account during the 5 months or to continue cash withdrawal from ATM using Malaysian debit card?

And referring to 3), what I meant was malaysia local debit card such as Maybank/cimb bank.

Thanks

If use ATM confirm the card use cirrus network. I’m trying to find out if cash withdrawal on this card can be perform thru the counter using MasterCard usual network . And I tried on Public Bank and also got declined. So most probably this card support cash withdrawal thru cirrus only.

Nope. Like previously some cabs in SG only accept MasterCard and not Visa.
