haih.. ever since exam started, i gave up wit Cr.. last nite tot, mayb study a bit for groups and other core topics..
mana tau.. sakit perut till i kenot tahan.. i took pain killer.. den slp all the way to 12.30.. go exam..
reached coll.. looked at ppl ard.. felt a bit dimotivated ba.. all so hardworking study study study..
asked some frens, if dun take exam, wad are the consequences..
they said, only that ur transcript will show an A - absent..
so so so.. decided not to go in loh..

and yea, heard from some frens, topics are quite easy, but questions, quite diff..
conceptrual framework, marks allocated are 25.. wad to write eh?
den operating lease, pengsan =p

lol.. no turning back.. im jus hoping for the best tmr..
hope P3 wont be as difficult as P1..

There is abit on deferred tax in Q3, but only few marks for simple calculation..
Also, dun forget, receivable is one of the financial asset.. Again, minor marks..

Before taking ACCA, need to take CAT first right? And which college around KL good for the both?

expecting P2 to be quite difficult.. but who knows..

ya, exam is over......

i think this p3 could swing either way. some of us would find it easy, some would find it hard.

i found it hell.

2nd time in my entire acca exam life, other than 2.4, i had to write till the very last second. so unlike p1, f7, and f8 where i had 30-1 hour free time.

q1 was predictable, 50 marks,
20 marks on strength and weakness.
4 marks on no frills strategy
16 marks evaluation of no frill strategy.
10 marks, strategic actions to improve financial and operational issues.

q2, Project initiation document/business case. 15 marks
Project managemetn 10 marks..

q3, pilot paper repeat.
primary activities of vc, 5 marks
downstream, 10 m
upstream 10m.
I wasn't expecting a total repeat of pilot paper, so it caught me totally off guard.

q4,
quality, 15 marks
six sigma, 10 marks.

sounds easy enough, eh? but strangely those 3 questions, especially q3/4, when u start doing, u'll just stone there for hours.

I did q2/q3.

all of u, what u all do?

i would definitely said to myself, there was time constraint..coz i did q.1, 2, 4.. for me,it is inappropriate that case study for Q.2 for project is long case study,equivalent to P1 q.1..it even continued to the next page only the top.. so,hopefully examiner aware of this.. in the past, section b based on half page case study,but this time, q.2 was full page and a half...definitely time constraint.. Q.3 totally off guard..value chain a same fotostat question from pilot..i think is fair yet,there is a weakness lying in there..

i wasted my time on q3, because it's weaknesses were very unclear and required more thinking than possible in 45 minutes.

Although the value chain was from the pilot paper, i tink the application kinda made it difficult...certainly time constraint! the ques are so longgggg.....for me, i tink p3 is quite tough...haihhh...

i did Q1, 3 and 4 ..

same as you, didnt expect to have a full queston same as the one for pilot paper.. was stunt when i saw..

and guess wad, i revised everything on pilot paper CEPT for that ques itself and wad? it CAME OUT!

god dam it.. it wasnt as easy.. and i found it quite difficult actually.
