i think i'm completing my ACCA by this year.
can i know besides starting to work, what do post ACCA students study ?
i'm interested to go to UK or australia for post ACCA study but i'm not quite sure what to study.
can anyone "enlighten" me pls ?

they never ask us to confirm email this year and i see the accaglobal.com website say results will be published on site tommorow

maybe this year they don't send results via email already ?
is that possible ?

hi guys, i'm seriously in need of opinion here.

i'm studying at sunway college now undertaking the final year for the acca programme. next semester would hopefully be my last semester.
as so my college requires us to make selection for what OPTIONAL PAPER to take in advance of next semester class.

I have few questions in doubt as to how to select what OPTIONAL PAPER to undertake. i hope you guys can help me out to answer a few query i have. really thanks in advance for any reply.

for the Big 4 audit firms. Is there such requirement that it is necessary or most preferable that graduates wishing to find a job there to possess ADVANCE TAX and ADVANCE AUDIT papers ? Because I have heard of some cases whereby graduate not possessing that two papers are ask to sit for the two papers on part time basis.

even if it's not necessary to possess the two papers, is it extremely beneficial for one in their working environment later in an audit firm ? for example in terms of job advancement.

I hope you guys could really answer my query.

working experience does not qualify for exemption geh ..

but after finish acca there's his requirement to work for 3 years before you become and affiliate right ? that's where your working experience of 1 year kicks in .. you can get an reduction of 1 year hence 2 years experience instead ..

ya for popular lecturers they are reserving the full time class for existing sunway students ..

difference is part time is on weekends or maybe weekdays nite time ? lol i guess any would know that .. sorry

oh the thing is full time is usually jam-packed with students .. for example P2 where the lecturer is Ms. Menon .. prepare to come early to grab a nice spot or end up sitting in the most back row .. cos the student numbers are massive .. probably 300 people could exist there .. i'm unwilling to count haha ..

for part time the number are significantly lower .. the word significantly could mean anywhere around 100 or so students or less ..

usually lecturer do comment that they are able to give more attention to part time classes as generally it's easier to conduct classes with less students .. and from my experience .. full time classes will rush to finish their syllabus compared to part time class

besides .. as part time students mostly are corporate client students .. they are more matured hence it would be so much more easier to concentrate during lecture as they don't reali talk as much as full time students who are still playful and such ..
