get into a good univ/college that offers IT DEGREE then study hard graduate as first class honors. then if ur result good u might get sponsorship for SAP certification course. After tat go apply some consulting firms (listed in front page) and most of them are choosy but if u manage to impress them, u're in their graduate trainee and they will train u in SAP.

yep. they will ask u sit for some Java aptitude test and got CGPA requirement. if all ok, can get free SAP certification training. then if ur exam result good, Axon terus bond u. by right the moment u sign the contract/agreement for SAP course, u are already bonded by Axon. just up to them want u or not.

I've friends who're earning up to the tune of US$200K/year in Middle-East, but to be realistic, in Malaysia, you'll be normally get around RM20-25K/month depending on the project (on contract basis). For permanent employment, you'll get around RM8-10K/month on any module. Most senior consultants will go for either freelancing (contract) or they'll open up their own shop to provide consultants to projects around SEA. Starting salary usually the same as other IT graduates.

as long u not permanent staff in the company, ur job title will always be 'Consultant' regardless project or support role. (external consultants)

If permanent, you will most likely get the title 'Analyst' or 'Application Specialist' regardless project or support role.

I'm currently holding a permanent post on one of the local company and i'm doing supporting and maintenance. I do think being a consultant is more challenging as you will face many different problem ..compared to when u are working with another company and holding a permanent post. However the good side is, you will be so good in that particular thing shorter time..this what I thought..I do, at one point of my career want to be a consultant...

This is for BW ALE Delta.
I need to create R3 Delta Extractor BW for SAP Standard tables but these tables doesnt have the delta-specific field that can be used as delta.

So I tried to use ALE Delta for some of the sap standard tables and it worked and thats because the ALE Delta config already maintained in SCDO by SAP. But there are some of the SAP tables are not set in the tcode SCDO so I need to create a new entries in SCDO and generates the update program. But the thing is these tables are maintaned by user in SAP Standard tcode and the user do not want to have a customized program to maintain the tables. So how should I do this? Where should I park the generated update program? I already checked he tcodes doesnt have any user exits.

The user maintains the tables in SAP's standard Table Maintanance Generator(tcode SM30). I want to park the ALE generated program in the Table Maintanance Generator event 02 - After Saving record to table but it requires me enter the access key since its a standard sap object. I dun wanna do that since it requires a lot of effort for approval..
*
No other way, u need to change the standard sap object if u wanna use ALE Delta.
Another way is, turn on the 'log data changes' inside the technical settings of the tables. U can use this way if the volume of the data in d tables is pretty constant n very minimal changes from time to time. But make sure u do housekeeping for the database log table(dbtablog) as well.

i'm certified in SAP ABAP and am working in Oil & Gas manufacturing company for bout 3 months... but guess what? ABAP is really not my cup of tea as i hate programming and i'm totally lost my interest working in here...

i'm wondering what should i do? at first i really wish that i can expose myself to SAP but now not anymore... what's in my mind is a job which can earn me $$$ ...

all the sifu out there... is SAP good for me?
*
I also certified in abap n hate programming too n now doing BI after 3 years in abap . Any modules in SAP can earn big money if u good at it. Maybe u can do abap for a year n jump to functional after that. To be a good functional u need to know abap as well otherwise u will easily kena con by abaper hehe.

So i think its a good start.

for those who studied SAP, please PM me.

i saw the SAP in the job fair, and they insist that i only need to pay 10k-18k+ for different module, no matter i can absorb the course or not, they will still give the certificate.

i want to know, which company(training center? ) that provide this course, and please roughly tell me how much it cost + duration of the course ok?

i didn't read 58 pages to get this answer, sorry.

- It's the self-learning course (done online). The one with a trainer cost at least 25-38k ringgit depending on the module.
- Only covers "attendance cert". Not recognizable outside Malaysia. If you want to be SAP certified you have to sit for the exam in SAP Malaysia HQ which will cost another additional RM 1,800.00 (last i checked).
- KnowledgeCom is currently providing the self-learning course. (10k-18k). Duration: 1 month full-time , 6 months part time.
With trainer (under Genovate), 1 month full time, 3 months part time. There are other institutions and companies like (HCL Axon) which provides the training as well. The details on the other hand, well ..all I can say is ..."Google" is your friend.

Anyway..good luck.

hai SAPians....

Currently i am undertaking SAP course, Sales and Distribution Module certification. Few days a ago i went for an interview with a company using SAP in its back end. During the interview i explain about the SAP things which i am learning. Base on my explanation the interviewer conclude i am taking SAP level 1. Base on the interviewer, there are 4 levels in SAP. Each level cost different $$$.

Is that true SAP have 4 different level in any module? Starting from level 1 to highest level 4.

Anyone of you here doing contract or permanent role in Singapore?
Just wanted to find out the estimated standard daily rates.

So far the offers have been various depending the different headhunters.
Apparently the local SAP consultants in SG earns lower then those in MY.

Applied for contract jobs before and all the agents said it's not in daily rate, but a fixed montly income.

Most they can give is SG 6k to 7k max for functional cum abap.. once you are a resident then only can go much higher.. imo not worth if compared doing contract locally..
