as i'm aware, most of the SAP-iens will have to travel a lot... how bout SAP ABAPers? do they need to travel a lot too?

got a question here... how much we need to pay for just a certification paper? what i mean is without tuition fees... how much it cost per paper? what bout SAP ABAP papers? how much it costs?

what job camp do you mean? MDeC Job Camp or Axon's Job Camp? is there any Axon's Job Camp? i wonder... recently i just applied for MDeC ABAP Job Camp... just took the pre-assessment test held by Axon on 8th October and i passed the test... ... as being told, the final decision of who will get the grant is made by MDeC as they subsidies the training costs... only the training costs... which means we need to pay for the certification exam... i'm waiting for the list who will get the grant for this course... ...

2k per sitting... there will be just one sitting only... should you tender your resignation letter? erm... it depends on you... i couldn't give you much advice as we both don't know what will us be after the training right? ... but if i were you, i will take the risk and tender my resignation letter... as i know, SAP is quite demanding nowadays... ... just my 2 cents...

mmm... due to economic downturn right now, i'm not so sure if there's much jobs opportunity available...

still, the decision lies in your hand... have to think carefully ooo... ...

if the company allow for one month leave then it's much better decision than resign lo...

mmm... i'm not so sure whether there's a discussion or not because last time i applied for Systems Administrator position... you just be prepared what you have learned before and make sure you can answer their questions...

it consists of Logic test, Programming test and you need to write an essay... you don't have to worry much as it's kinda basic test but of course you need to have basic programming skill... i'm November intake candidate and i'm having the training till 12th Dec... ...

not at all... but u still need some basic programming skills... as i mentioned, it also consists of IQ test which is quite straightforward... all u need is to read the questions properly... hope this help... ...

ya it's the exam fees... i'm sitting for the exam this month... kinda stress... a lot chapters need to be covered...

is there anyone got any sample question of SAP ABAP Exam?

ya... how i wish i can get into functional... i'm fresh ABAPer and it's kinda difficult to find a job as most of the companies require at least 2 years experience... any idea of how to get into functional without paying highly cost of 30k?

i'm certified in SAP ABAP and am working in Oil & Gas manufacturing company for bout 3 months... but guess what? ABAP is really not my cup of tea as i hate programming and i'm totally lost my interest working in here...

i'm wondering what should i do? at first i really wish that i can expose myself to SAP but now not anymore... what's in my mind is a job which can earn me $$$ ...

Added on June 1, 2010, 11:44 ami wish to but there's no one i can ask for help if i face a problem in coding as no one know bout programming in here... is NO ONE... not even a single person... how do i improve my skill since there's no one teach or guide... i understand being an initiative person could learn a lot but the problem is i did try to do research through internet as well as calling up my friends who are ABAPer as well but still ended up nothing... you should know, the way to learn programming is to have at least one or two partner sitting side by side doing the hands on together in order to discuss and understand well right? but how could i do this since no one here know bout programming?

you are right... not giving any excuses but the gap between being certified and now is exactly one year... within this year, i've forgot everything bout ABAP Programming... hehe... so now tried to brush up everything but have no idea what's going on...

certification is about theory whereby experience is about hands-on and be able to apply into the real job... me? none other than fresh ABAPer... experience gain = 0... where could i gain such an experience is every company hired an experience candidate?

what do you guys think about being an ABAPer?
