I am holding a new amex gold and i want to check the points, where should i log in at?

Same here... recieved card but with no instructions / info.

A bit appalling if you ask me, other plat/gold cards came complete and with free gifts/vouchers.

At M2U, they have stated points received by your new Amex.

@bingozero : the new one is a credit card, you'll have to register at m2u to view your transactions/points

@RJdio : Well, the new amex gold is pretty basic. free for life, no strings attached, don't think you can expect much. If you really wanna be pampered, try applying for the The Platinum Card (Amex platinum charge card)

But I cannot find any points title stated in my amex gold credit card categoy at maybank2u.

When you login, you click "Accounts & Banking" to view your account summary right? At that page, click "Rewards Points" on the left side of the page. Then click "Treats Points" to view your points. It's actually MR points, but since it's m2u website, it's listed as TP

Thats mean MR point is TP? No wonder my Petronas credit card got many treat points

Based on your info, Amex’s conversion rate is 0.68% higher than DA MC rate, which is not a significant difference and is still acceptable.

You can refer to the clause no. 3(f) of the T&Cs below. It states the contest is based on posting date.

Besides, I've just made the purchase by splitting the payment: 5k for Alliance Younique MC (RM68.25 rebate + 1x point), 5k for Alliance Plat Visa (RM68.75 rebate + 1x point), and 30k for Citi Plat Visa (1x point). I can't take advantage of 2x points from Amex.

Yea, you actually earn MR although the website will show as TP

Think I recall a number of forumers here who have said no, you can't combine. Which makes sense, they're 2 seperate reward program

Yea, pretty acceptable to me. Rather consolidate my points in a particular card, and I definately prefer charge cards since I don't keep outstanding balances. (apart frm my Amex Gold CC, since there's 0% finance charge till December)

Hmm, quite weird for their CS to get it wrong, they're usually pretty well informed.

Nope, call to customer service line, they mentioned need to wait till 15 Sept then only will update, but seem like you all already got it, weird.

My amex so far every day transaction is the posting date itself. Is there anyone got diff posting date and transaction date?

I got. Transaction date is today. Posting date is the next day.

i found no other expenses i can swipe for Amex....

petrol BHP station is definately out for Amex.
