Hello all, just want to know is that the Membership Reward Turbo program still available for sign up? It stated application before 30 June 2009 but not stated when the registration is end. Also don't know when check the AMEX website suddenly see such thing. Below is the link

Added on July 27, 2009, 11:00 amJust now called their customer service, the Turbo Program still available but is only for charge card, not available for Credit Card (AMEX Platinum, AMEX Gold CC, AMEX Krisfler etc...). My dream of taking 5x + 3x broken.....

I went to TF on Sun afternoon only. Almost similiar like last year, but more stuff interesting to me.

Nothing much to exchange. Nearly wanted to get the mozzy trap (mosquito) but later did not turn back.

Redeem some Korean Anylock Zip and 2x scoops of Baskin Robbins.

The RM50/100?? per spin has changed to RM300 per spin. Which is good, as it is faster to clear the queue.

Also got the Amex blue bag. Don't like the colour and design though.

Yes that extra 1x bonus point scheme is applicable only for the Amex Charge Card.

Was the Wheel of Spin in the past applicable for purchases made >RM50/100? It was RM300 on Fri and again yesterday! Yeah the bag's fugly! And I should have applied for that Limited Edition Sony Card; quite nice the design.

I remember last year my friend bought a Notebook PC RM4k+

It took forever to spin all the chances, until hands are tired. Eyes also blur and headache, as you are standing right in front of the multi-colour spinning-board, like a torture chamber. I feel nausea after that. Lucky did not vomit in TP there.

This year, the wheel spin, I receive 5500 TP Can buy 5x single scoop baskin robbins at TP Fair Or about RM30 voucher.

I guess MBB's smarter this year. I had 7 spins but alas, my lucky number for the day was 100 !! *iSh*

I think the person in charge pity my friend, cause I remember quite clearly I saw it spin 500 + 100. Then I look at the slip, is 500 + 5k

I recently got the American Express® Gold Credit Card.

I can't use it at Petrol Stations (Petronas, BHP).

Telekom doesn't accept it for Autopay.

For petronas, you have to pay at counter. Not at the machine. I experience this before.
Dont know about BHP mate.

TM accepts AMEX for debit instruction. I just submitted an application to TM point. The earlier application I submitted via fax doesn't work.

Went to TF to apply American Express® Gold Credit Card but turn out they gave me the SONY Limited VISA....Refer to the malay lady(Promotor) and told me to apply again...Finally got it the next day...Now i have both cards and the card numbers and my name printed in gold starting to fade off....

Er.. so fast the emboss is starting to fade? Er.. if U want to keep the cards then call the bank and tell them u tried using it but it doesn't work; that way they will send you a replacement card FOC

so, we can only pay at the counter for Amex cards?

Will use the card for pumping petrol tonight, if it doesn't work...will call the bank for replacement....haha..

Payment counter applicable only for Petronas. Shell & Caltex confirm can pay at the pump.

Er.... just cause the colour on ur name is fading doesn't mean the card won't work lah

Here's the picture I promised, except I don't carry the DA Gold + HSBC Gold with me so it's not in the picture. Also, I haven't received the Amex Gold CC hence it's not in the picture too

Eh ? The HSBC Premier Mastercard doesn't exactly look ugly in the picture posted above. May be just that it's too plain in design eh ?

Er.. well it's not exactly great in its design but who cares as long as it can be used. I do like the SCB VI design though.

If ur card is not usable then just go ahead and make the call. I wouldn't be too happy if MBB sent me a card which is not usable

Good colour co-ordination though & guard well your identity for you never know what lurks beneath the bits & bytes
