Thanks Shadowguardian for the explaination, MR points earn from AMEX Gold CC can't merged with charge card, that is the weakness for the system.

I think the autopay form (AMEX use expresspay form) inside maybank website is outdated already, there isn't Digi Telco in the list.

Want to ask AMEX Gold CC Users, the card takes how long to get delivered once it appear on your M2U?

Check your M2U online, if don't have, call American Express and ask for the status, they will check the status for u in 2 minutes time.

My case is a bit different here, they said they normally post within 1 week the card approved, hope mr. post man don't take my card for their collection

Just want to add on, yes, HLB AMEX is less been discussed in the credit card section these days (years), last time still remember when HLB firstly launched their AMEX, they promote it well.
Sometime will see that on AMEX promotion (e.g. 8x reward) will stated 'This promotion is exclusively for Maybank and Maybank Islamic issued AMEX only', i think this is to prevent the HLB AMEX use to get the rewards, btw, the offer should be all of the AMEX user but not only Maybank AMEX.

So did HLB AMEX can get 2x reward point as well?

mine one appear in M2u for 1 month and nothing sent to me!! Call and ask the person who handle my application, she ask me to wait 2 months, what the.... So if your card comes in within 1 month, u will said that, at least u r better than me

Mine here a bit different with your situation. Just now making a call to the person in charge again, she asked for my address again, and said that will proceed for the shipment. quite strange, it seems that she also don't know where did the card go, just wait another few weeks...

By the way, may i know did the AMEX Gold CC have the hologram such as those Platinum Card? Saw a lady paying at Carrefour using AMEX, I'm sure it is either Platinum or Gold CC but just want to make sure... thanks

It should be takes 8-10 weeks after the promotion date to get the remaining 6x point.

I have received my AMEX Gold CC, have some question regarding Express Autopay, do you know how long it takes for the processing for auto debit after we submit the form to the center? Did they call us if we fax the document to them? I've faxed the document to them, but they didn't call us for confirm, quite worried.

yes, you must fill in if don't want to be charge RM 5, then you have to check the email or transaction history at M2u. I think it is a good practice of Maybank by asking the people to save the paper. As seen from HSBC website, "more than 50,000 trees chop down for annual statement", it is the time for e-statement, save money and save the earth

The Maybank staff need time to calculate the reward point, haha...
Anyway, so happy for the surprise point for the promotion, normally should be 2x.

Membership Reward point actually is a good thing, it actually can count as point and also use for cash rebate, if i not mistaken last time got informed that 200 MR = RM 1 rebate, so it is flexible for those who don't want to struggle what thing to redeem when they have lots of points.

Also found that the AMEX gold cc 5x reward is not apply for Metrojaya, wonder why they not included in the list, as they are partner with Maybank's promotion. (e.g. Buy RM 300 at Metrojaya using Maybank CC will get RM30 voucher)

u mean the AMEX Gold CC? or AMEX overall?

There is many advertisement on AMEX Gold CC at some hyperstore's tv (carrefour), and i have see there is a big advertisement board at LDP, nearby the curve there also, they are doing the advertisement heavily

Hope this phenomena continue and most of our Malaysia merchant accept AMEX, then i will be very happy as all over the place is 2x - 5x

Just receive my statement in hard copy, quite confusing as i never tick the "charge of RM5.00 if you wish to receive the hard copy statement" in application form, and they didn't charge RM 5.00 on my bill, the paper was not hard copy?

How about Cold Storage? As i see the Cold Storage is in the AMEX's Groceries List
