QUOTE(oneeleven @ Dec 3 2011, 09:14 PM) One problem is different companies, different tickets. Using a day/week pass or touch card is easier. Suica/Pasmo easier, passes are cheaper (unless you ONLY wanna go ONE PLACE per day, in which case the passes are kinda not that good). But passes are limited to certain lines, so it's kinda problematic and you have to plan your trips to the dot.111 |

QUOTE(fivesquared @ Dec 4 2011, 02:34 PM) That depends, what you wanna do? If you wanna see culture, Asakusa, Kamakura/Enoshima and maybe Nikko (not exactly in Tokyo, but good for a day trip) are good spots IMHO. For shopping, Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, Ueno's shopping district under the JR line. Upscale shopping, Ginza. For anime stuff/electronics, Akihabara, Nakano, Ikebukuro's shoujo street (anime stuff). For camera specific stuff, Nakano (Fujiya Camera), Ginza, Shinjuku, Akihabara, the Yotsuya-Sanchome area (one particular store), Omori (CrossPoint). For Yokohama, Kannai (also the stadium close by), Chinatown and MinatoMirai/Habour area are generally a good bet. Also that park thing that everyone goes to. |

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Dec 2 2011, 06:12 AM) Haha......if Tokyo sub was 100 times complicted, then london tube was 1000 times already and newyork was 10000 times more. QUOTE(idoblu @ Dec 2 2011, 09:34 AM) London subway is easy compare to Tokyo ^ Having been a tourist in both cities, I agree that London is WAY easier than Tokyo. Cid you live in Japan cannot make unbiased comparison liao |

Hi there...just to ask here....there is a promotion for airasia currently to fly from KL to osaka(total RM500++ per person) currently......just need some quick info....
If only stay and play in osaka, approximately how many days is enough to explore almost 90% of that place?? And if I do book a hotel, what is the average price per night for the hotel in osaka?(i think 3 star is enough or maybe 2 star also OK) Thanks for the answer.... |

Thanks Direct flight will be more cheaper.Japan domestik air ticket are very expensive....RM convert to Yen totally too expensive. Tokyo to New Chitose by JAL / ANA ticket are RM1,000 plus. Go by Air DO or Skymarks will cheaper but still need RM800 above. |

Unless you ask beforehand, else most of them do not allow 3 person to share a double bed. I heard it can be quite serious if you get caught for slipping in the 3rd person quietly..Added on December 17, 2011, 3:03 amI'm sure someone here has the experience of taking AA flight to Haneda and reach there late at night.. Just wondering if we have enough time to clear the immigration and collect luggages before catching the last train at least? My friends dunwan to stay over in the airport so we've booked the accommodation in Ikebukuro on the first day arrival.. This post has been edited by senn: Dec 17 2011, 03:03 AM |
