QUOTE(YoungMan @ Dec 24 2023, 10:58 AM) Some people maybe do not have landline phone, especially if your plan don't come with free STD20. So it would be troublesome to borrow a landline phone somewhere just to be able to call 100 Aand fax.At my office I have to forgo phone in favor of fax. Because some old boomer clients can't move on and live like we do in 2023. |

QUOTE(syuksyuk @ Dec 24 2023, 08:32 PM) Hey im looking a new router to replace unifi stock router I think your current deco M4 is enough for normal usage.House type: Landed Size of house: 1 floor Features required: - Number of devices connected to WiFi: 15+ Internet Speed:Unifi Home 500Mbps Budget: below RM500 At the moment, I have wifi mesh Deco M4 (2units) My opinion:Just wait for another year for Mid-grade Wifi 7 router? Edited: If your current wifi coverage is not fully cover ,then get another deco node(Newer model) to expand might be considerable. https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1588/ This post has been edited by go626201: Dec 24 2023, 08:42 PM |

QUOTE(syuksyuk @ Dec 24 2023, 08:32 PM) Hey im looking a new router to replace unifi stock router Want get fiberhome wifi 6 x2 from me? Good price, can dmHouse type: Landed Size of house: 1 floor Features required: - Number of devices connected to WiFi: 15+ Internet Speed:Unifi Home 500Mbps Budget: below RM500 At the moment, I have wifi mesh Deco M4 (2units) Because i feel like deco m4 may not able handle 500mbps very reliably Otherwise, get one new deco x series single unit and see, like deco x50, then can wire up two of your existing M4 as part of mesh network This post has been edited by MyProLife: Dec 24 2023, 10:51 PM |

All boss, please help here. 500mbps unifi with with unifi router Dlink X3060, I use connect to router from PC, it got full speed about 520mbps. I use iphone, sometime 500mbps, sometime 400mbps. both speed doing in front of the router. This speed I use 5Gz signal. Once I change to 2.4ghz,it become 50mbps only, but upload still 100mbps. Is this the unifi problem or router problem?

Is this the unifi problem or router problem? Try disable MU-MIMOSome devices does not like mu-mimo from certain radio so it downgrade to 1x1 mode download. This is more pronounced with iphones. You might be using wifi 5 for 2.4ghz, in this version mu-mimo only work for downstream (wifi 6 works in both directions). I have also read somewhere a spec sheet that says iphone only use mu mimo for downstream. In either case, that explains how it only affects download speed, and not upload. Disable the 2.4GHz in the router and we'll see magic happens...Source : https://www.increasebroadbandspeed.co.uk/re...i-5-and-wi-fi-6 After disabled the 2.4GHz, throw away those devices that cannot connect to 5GHz...LOL...
