Guys....just want to ask any1 have same experience as me....recently TM Unifi just help me upgrade to 1Gbps from 800Mbps with no extra charges (of course bond 2 years again lar)......Then the technician comes & inform need to change new router which I saw is D-Link punya....

Since then....I have encounter frequent auto disconnect issue & sometimes will not auto connect back......I try to manual connect also cannot even though I can detect the SSID is there in my wireless searching....MUST restart router only can reconnect back the internet....This problem already happen >10x since the upgrade data (Around 1mths now).....This Sunday they will send technician to check but I doubt they can detect anything since it's happen randomly and if on the good day, basically cannot detect any abnormal.....

Just wonder any1 encounter same problem & have solution for it....Thx

Their SWU offers if renew 24 months contract:
300Mbps RM129, 500Mbps RM149 without unifiTV (With 6 months free)

Unifi telemarketer offers me 3 months free if i renew my current package, 800Mbps RM189 default bundled with unifiTV (which i rarely or don't watch)

Another alternative is Astro Fibre, 500Mbps RM95, with free 1 month.

So, guys, any suggestions?

not worth it at all,

latest offer for 300mpbs is RM99 free 3 months, free Wifi 6 Combo Box.

previous offer for SWU3.0 for 500mpbs was RM119 free 6 months, free mesh Wifi 6 router.

How TM block D-Link Web UI with OMCI
This is a continuation to work done by Anime4000.
In his custom firmware, he just restart the boa process to keep the Web UI functioning.
With some reverse engineering, I have figured out how it happens.

The offending code is loaded inside /bin/startup. It checks for MIB 517 (0x205).
The pseudo code is as follow:


So technically any OLT can push that MIB and your Web UI will disappear, at least for the D-Link.

Exactly! haha, restart boa (Embedded WebGUI) is simplest method without patching the bin

you can make Firmware contain patches and removal of IoT stuff.

I still keep firmware chroot/repack at my GitHub, just modify a bit to work with ARM64 chroot instead of MIPS32. I believe D-Link RTL9607DQ use xz compression, the repack routine should be automatically detect which compression algorithm squashfs using.

making and compile own ARM64 binary should be easy too, you can find /bin/nijika a simple printf(); 🤣
