I don't blame those who unaware of D-Link security practices. Once I toy around, I will sell my D-Link Black ONR lol. Haha.
I am happy you got a cool installer mate. if all installer like this, ISP can bungkus already.Β  brows.gif

Well by right no 1gbps & 2gbps subscribers should be getting the Skyworth. They're just doing their job in fact people like them makes the service better thumbup.gif

I respect a few TM installer. I always talk with them regarding networks, gain insights about TM future plans. I do get assigned with good and pro installers back when I was a 800Mbps user.

If its true, then its great. Any idea if 5Gbps and 10Gbps speed subscription in future? Is there probabilities on further speed upgrade (free) in future? Not to say win, but who can provide cheapest bidding price.

If that true...
When new pricing in force, then existing ultra user get 5Gbps or 10Gbps

I have been setup someone factory, they have multiple 2Gbps line, this what TM want to tackle first,

One factory use 2G x 4 OLT port to get 8Gbps DL, 4Gbps UP
I sold four PON Stick to them last year 😬

I agree. They should tackle the corporate or enterprise-based operation before moving to residential users. So, in the meantime, we have to stick with Skyworth or D-Link ONR right; depending on the type of subscription plan?

just signed up for 500 mbps. understand that free calls included in the package but no dect phone provided like last time.

are we supposed to buy the dect phone ourselves?
*
You can buy the phone yourself. Doesn't matter whether cordless dect phone or old style landline phone. Can also buy from Tmpoint if you wish.

Yes, just keep the device, I swapped D-Link White to Black no problem, this should do the same in the future

Yeah some technicians are really good, the one who was handed my original upgrade job while maybe not being the most knowledgable did do a lot of running around for me.
Funny thing is in my case even though its binded, the PLOAM is the same, never changed.
*
Maybe that's how their binding works. PLOAM stays the same doesn't matter if it matches the device serial or not because they bind the serial itself, one device per account. Hence if you use the same PLOAM on your ZTE or Fiberhome still cannot connect.

Current Administration have give right to Allo and Maxis to expand the fiber and TM not allow to expand.

So, only way to make existing fiber to support more customers is by upgrading to XGSPON

so, same fiber runs GPON and XGSPON in same time

also other ISP on TM fiber will remain GPON meanwhile Unifi going to XGSPON,

this because the D-Link White and Black seem to support XGSPON as kernel has the code

I not sure about new ONR for 100-800 plan, if does, then Unifi will enjoy XGSPON meanwhile other ISP stuck at GPON

That what I have been told, gather enough Unifi Ultra customer and upgrade the OLT simply swap the PON Card.

A lot of TM employee message and add me on WhatsApp and Facebook, even I joined their Online Meeting πŸ˜… This because of PON Stick, TM watching my project.

Well a lot of higher end prosumer hardware can already support 10G networking, and a lot of people love to be extra LOL.

Me see big number me likey and me already bought 10G equipment for home network

But why not? They should give us what we pay for

Lion city is already a good example, their 10G plan is the similar price to 1G plan in MY

Routing can be better but it’s already been so long since their issues is there, what can we realistically do?

Surely they wont opt for this kind of extra cost multiple device setup anymore they're going for the cheap all-in-one device where you just plug and play take it or leave it. Imagine subscribing to their highest plan just to get a 2x2 mimo buggy ONR

This? Forget it πŸ˜‚

Who is the that the app developer for the unifi app it's really frustrating every time keep logging out logging out again and negative even though I save to remember the device.
Loading apps also took me to 3G days..

After revamped whole app also still sucks... Chatbot another level wait queue like MCO days
