If someone who often use imgur may just send a support or complaint message to Fastly with traceroute attachment.
I did it once few years ago,while at that time TM to Fastly cdn sites was route to Europe node,and they did optimized it with reroute to SG or asia node. (But it takes sometimes,as they need to communicate with TM for routing optimization)

cloudflare (without blocking malware) may be slightly faster than the one that blocks malware

for me I noticed that
Cloudflare, Quad9 has MY servers
Google and Cisco OpenDNS's nearest servers are in SG

I recommend using this utility to benchmark as ping is not an accurate result

Wanna ask about dns setup, do i need to setup dns, e.g. Quad9, in every devices, even i have set up dns in wifi router?

Depends. How are you checking the connection? Some web browsers or operating systems will override your router DNS if they have their own encrypted DNS – usually DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) or DNS-over-TLS (DoT) – settings. For example, I think Chrome and Android will always default to using Google DNS unless you manually change the connection settings.

Edit:
If your router DNS settings doesn’t support encrypted DoH/DoT, then it is always a good idea to set an encrypted DNS on device. Especially useful for mobile devices, since you will continue using the custom DNS you’ve configured even when you’re on cellular data or joined another wifi network.

Does anyone has issues with Youtube buffering on PC? I'm on a 500mbps line, Youtube refuse to load the video and buffer sometimes occasionally, unifi speed test shows 2ms ping and download at 520mbps... what is wrong with Unfi

Yes imgur very slow but for me img still ok its the video thats slow

Anyway since i use a phone whenever i switch from unifi wifi to telco digi mobile data 9n my phone imgur load fast even video

Im getting sick of all these Unifi issueeee

The reason i still use imgur bcus they keep all media for decades and its free

I'm using NextDNS to check which dns is using.

I'm using TPLink Archer C1200 which i don't think it support encrypted DoH/DoT, i'll have to manually setup dns on each device

No not using ad block, worse is I'm on Youtube premium... i think its effected more on my Windows 11 PC, my mobile doesn't see to have the same effect, 1440p videos lags and buffer like crazy

maybe router issue you use free tm router i think cannot handle
