Wise choice. It's slightly more expensive than SWU 3.0. But the most important thing is the 6 months free waivers. You can save a lot from there.

You finally get Unifi or Maxis? RM159 can now get Maxis 1gbps provided that you have their postpaid. i am considering to move to Maxis.

It also depend on the billing zones of customers (in this case, imgur), willing to spend more to Fastly for better performance.
Imgur, which I believe using billing zone of MBZ100, only served by US and EU Fastly POPs.

Is Unifi really slow lately?

Especially for video and photo sites?

Youtube and Twitter is ok, but many video and photo sites like streaming services and high resolution galleries are really slow to load.

How was your speed before?

TIME upgraded the speed to 200M for RM99 package, so far have you guys seeing any counteroffer by TM?? Will TM upgrade their RM89 to 200M too?? Otherwise all their customers might switch to TIME.

Impossible. Tm was the first to give free upgrade and last year only. Due to being forced to do so.

They will not bother to fight with time Becos time only covers high rise and not even all high rise covered even. Most ppl who are staying high rise will no matter how go for time Becos it has symmetric speed which is better value.

Sound like TM plan let go all their high rise customers to TME, only focus those landed customers (that no coverages by TIME). In this case, how to survive?

Why cannot survive? Most ppl in bolehland still stay in landed.

And network infra once setup they just continue to use it to make money. It is just the startup cost and ongoing labour and maintenance they need to bear.

One thing also to build an infra to service landed users the cost are actually higher comparing to high rise. And again they are charging the same price also.

This is where time can still come to disrupt the market Becos the cost for them to cover high rise is still profitable to them.

While the advantage of tm is that they are monopoly which no competition.

Seem like TIME is very profitable especially in city area (High rise) which having a larger portion of population in bolehland. They will continue monopoly where TM sound like not interested.

RM99 (200M) vs RM89 (100M)

Because I am using their postpaid. But I am asking for more discount only will consider the switch from Unifi to Maxis as following reasona;

1. The rebates only valid for 24 months. After the promotion period, price will back to normal which is higher than my Unifi.
2. Contract bound after I switch. Now I am free of contract with Unifi.
3. I will loss my landline number with TM

Unless they able to offer me much more than this only I will switch hehehe

100Mbps asymmetric speed (download at 100Mbps and upload at pathetically 30Mbps (to be fair also it is sufficient for most consumers though since most of the time they are doing download only) at rm89.

Any good deals for new unifi/maxis/digi subscription for a landed house?
TIME is not an option for now

stick with unifi unless you are telco postpaid user

normally if you are new subsriber to unifi or other prodivider you dont have good deals , you need die die use 2 years after the contract baru can get good deal or good counter offer from other provider

ping was like 200 to 250-ish to eu server..game still playable but now 400 and packet lost cant

even connect to server cant get into game mode now

cant do anything but just wait for fix
