rm219 vs regular price of rm249...

and compare to time 1Gbps rm199, it is not too far away as well...

but personally i won't subscribe to such high speed plan which i totally cannot utilise though...

i prefer to keep my subscription to the lowest possible for $$ saving instead of paying extra for something i did not use. tongue.gif

Go inside and change to whatever you want. That would not be a problem. Myself using Adguard public dns to block ads.

Errr, i means for my plan right now SWU 2.0 to SWU 4.0...
Because my current plan is free upgrade to 500Mbps (SWU 2.0) so if i choose to take SWU 4.0, i need to pay more...

All TMPoints offer SWU 4.0 plans
This plan is for existing users only

Today I checked at TM Point again, I was told that the SWU 4.0 only offers to all the existing Unifi customers who are interested upgrade/downgrade their existing Unifi plan.

Unfortunately, Streamyx customers are not in the offer list.

mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

No choices, next I will check with other telcos who can offer RM79 for 100M speed. As seems like TM is not interested take care or providing any offer to all their existing Streamyx customers.Thanks.

Don't think other telco is offering RM79 for 100Mbps.

Umobile offers rm79 for 100mbps. They're riding on TIME and TNB Allo infrastructure.

Then not likely to have them to lay the cable in TM territory.

Not sure news accurate or not.
AAE-1 submarine cable might be down?
Houthis knock out underwater cables linking Europe to Asia - report
The successful targeting of the four cables, which are believed to belong to the AAE-1, Seacom, EIG, and TGN systems, marks a serious disruption of communications between Europe and Asia.

Hi guys, last year Oct 2023 TM was offering free broadband speed upgrade to existing customer. Mine was 500MBPS and was eligible to be upgraded to 800MBPS.

It so happened today I initiated live chat on Unifi corporate website, and was told that my package was still in 500MBPS, the Live Chat agent initially denied that I was entitled of free upgrade until I show her the proof of email/ SMS.

The Live chat agent subsequently told me that I wasn't "upgraded" due to my Taman doesn't support high connection speed/ fibre optic.

Hoping you guys to advice and enlighten the following, thank you in advance!

1. How do we check the "high speed compatibility and infrastructure readiness" of specific location? This is to ascertain what the Live chat agent told me was true.

2. Even if my Taman does not support the speed, but TM could've informed me on this instead of keeping silent. And I have been literally charged with the higher price for months, since I didnt get to enjoy the 800MBPS speed, any idea would TM compensate in any probable ways?
Note: please disregard this point 2 above, cuz i shouldn't be talking about paying extra since it's a free upgrade

Very easy... u go to tmpoint and seek for any possible for subscribe to higher speed. If there is offer for higher speed plan then they cannot deny your Taman doesn't support high connection speed/fiber optic.

Easy also... go and take a photo on the CS monitor on the availability for speed upgrade plan.
One option is to see at your unifi profile to see whether you can upgrade your speed plan from 500Mbps by yourself at home.
The system is already incorporating the higher speed plan option for you.
