Hi. Since I'm currently contract free and on 30Mbps @ 89, I'm aware that I'll be getting the speed upgrade for 100. But I'm still quite lost in the SWU discussion.

1. Why is my package called "Try Me Broadband" ? And what SWU is this even?

2. Will TM provide me with a new Wifi 6 router for free?

3. Should I just take the speed upgrade and jump to other providers?

By any chance will they 'layan' me if I ask them for SWU packages since im contract free for 30Mbps @ 89? Or is it something exclusive for those paying 119 ish only. Tried to go TM Point here and it looks packed so I returned. Wanna try my chance with online help.

Or should I just take the speed upgrade to 100Mbps and live contract free with no free stuffs.

Oh means the SWU3 package is 119 for 300 and might get up to 500 isit?

Ideally I just wanna retain my price of 89 and expected I would get 300 for 89 (yes now it sounds ridiculous even to me hahaha).

Thought that I would atleast get bill waivers and a new router but if it requires a spike in the bill then I guess I have to pass. 100Mbps is my limit then.

Also, anyone here using TPLink AX20 router? Does it support 100Mbps?

I mean for the latest one I don't think they'd offer 300 for someone who pays 89 only... Logical is the FSU for 100mbps la.

Let's just wait and see what other telco has to offer (im looking at you meksis & selkomdiji) ...

I'd strongly suggest you to look for the previous model (AX20) as it is a quad-core based CPU as compared to AX23 dual-core. AX20 also has USB while AX23 don't.

I'm just waiting what other telcos might offer before going for the SWU @ 119. Also idk if I really need that 500mbps as 100 is already an overkill. I'm just going to wait atleast until tmpoint are not too congested.

Update on the SWU 3.0

I just went to TmPoint Seremban and the process took around 20 minutes only. The charming anne said the following.

1. Waiver of 6 months.
2. Voice of 600 mins. Up to you wanna use or not ... They won't provide phone.
3. 2 MESH routers ( ONU retain ) ...
4. The speed itself comes to 500Mbps, however bill would reflect 300Mbps @ RM119.
5. Contract 24 months (ignore if you have no intention of moving to other telco) ...

Installation is scheduled for me in just 2 days. Extremely satisfied with TMpoint Seremban.

You have to be free from contract. You may change to a higher tier but never lower when in contract. Fortunately for me I am both contract free and 'upgrading'.

Order is created but oddly the app won't let me see it. Logging in via the web I had no issue. Also, REMEMBER TO CONFIRM APPOINTMENT else it will delay further.

Eh? Different place different mesh isit? I winder what Mesh I will be receiving from TM Point Seremban. I remember someone posted about Seremban but cant find where. Dlink or Fibrehome I'm not sure.

My status since yesterday is Appointment Scheduled. My appointment is set for tomorrow @ 9.30 AM ... But still I haven't received any SMS confirming my appointment or any. Should I be worried?

Thing is I can't open the order through the app. In website its fine. I'm just unsure if the TM Point just haven't update or they just wanna come without any details.

Aiyoo so confusing now ? Is the SWU 3.0 300 or 500 Mbps now? Why the TM Point Seremban say permanent while some here say 1 year?

Looks promising indeed. Now where in earth is my installer. Appointment time exceeded and the unifi app itself doesn't have installer details. Haiyaa need to go work la haiyo
